Twilight Arbor, Leurent path unbeatable?
Obsidian Spire OS / EXS
Aggro the group, pull them away, snare one when they try to reset, kill that one, repeat til Leurent, dps Leurent down.
It’s a pain, but not too bad. Get your immobilizes and breakstuns ready and you’ll be fine.

We tried that, but they all pull then reset way to fast, and all at once every time. It never works.

It can be done, my guild does it everytime we’ve ran TA (grinding Onyx Lodestones for guild leader’s Twilight). It took us a few tries to get the snaring down, but it’s possible.
You can’t try to leash them too far away, but it has to be a good bit so the rest don’t reaggro after you snare an individual. Line/Ring of Warding helps to isolate one, as do pulls (Into the Void, Scorpion Wire, Spectral Grasp, etc.). Immobilizing in the right location is most important though.

You can pull them… usually you fight 2 alone, then leurant and the other 1. Mobs that take damage leash further then mobs that don’t…
Guide in my sig if you care.

I really like to see the people that QA that part to actually beat it the way it was intended and without pulling.
It is God’s decision that i fight.
As knight of honor, as protector of the sin. I sacrifice myself, for the blood of criminals.
My group does all 3 TA paths on a daily basis, as others have said you need to leash 3 while CCing the last one to turn back then kill him. Rinse and repeat. If you want to fight all 4 at once you need to have a strong group plus either plague form from a necro (aoe blind for 20 seconds) or time warp to kill them before they kill you.
You’ll get used to forward forward. Its maybe the 2nd easiest path in TA. I’ve run TA a lot on my mesmer who is in full TA gear now.
You can pull 1 or 2 of the knights provided your group doesn’t run up and get mowed over. Sometimes you get just 1 other times you’ll get 2 at the same time. They dont have a lot of hp so they die fairly quickly. If your group is melee heavy you’ll have a more difficult time due to all the knockdowns and damage from the knights. With range and snares its not that hard at all.
Get everybody to back up and 1 person makes the pull. Everything will come but there is always 1 or 2 knights that will come out further than the rest. Its a bit of a fine line between killing the knight and have them all reset if you move too far back. But with practice you’ll be able to do it nearly every time. Many times just as a knight is dieing the others will reset leaving you plenty of room to finish him off. Imho the key might be to have your melee range attack until you have 1 knight singled out and the rest reset. Otherwise melee just get eaten up on this pull. And you will waste a lot of time reviving downed players.
Kill 2 knights then finish off the last knight with Laurent. Laurent isn’t much of a worry compared to the knights. Funny how the trash mobs are more difficult than the boss but the boss has a ton of hp……………………….oh wait, nvm

Aggro is working really strange in this case, Knights act like confused chickens, running to you and the suddenly back. Another fail is that knights are doing bigger mess than Leurent. Welcome to Guild Wars 2.. nothing more to say.
The easiest trick to this pull that I can recommend is have your designated puller go to the narrowest point in the hallway while the rest of the group backs up. That way the knights will only focus one target and ff the pull falls completely apart someone can run away from the fight, let it reset and res the team.
That target should be someone prepped with defensive skills. As a Warrior I pull that group with Mace/Shield and Longbow. Mark a target, longbow pull it and pull back. Once they get about halfway to you, use longbow 4 to blind so the knight will miss the jumping stun attack. Shield block, back up and have your team engage that one target while you back up. If it begins to reset, immobilize with longbow or stun with mace or shield and damage until they turn back around.
We can easily break the pull down to 2 knights first then 1 knight and Leurent second. Magnet pull, scorpion wire and other pulling skills also make this easier.
Well, I was in a pug group the other night. They just rushed them. No deaths on our side at all. I’m not sure what was happening exactly but it for sure felt very satisfying :p
If pulling doesn’t work out for ya, have everyone pile on one knight and keep a stun breaker for after his stun attack.
We are sworn together by our blood…
Those knights have a weird pulling mechanic.
Only an experienced puller with knowledge of their mechanic can do it safely:
Go in and attack one, then back slowly; they’ll all start coming. Keep focusing on that one, as you back. When they get into ~600 range, they’ll do the knockdown combo. This MUST be dodged, else the others will KD combo your kitten and you’ll down, at which point your generous team will come to res you, get knocked down, chain reaction ensues and you wipe.
It’s very important that your team does not come in until one is singled out, else more will be pulled.
