At the first ‘boss’ part of all paths you need to kill 5/6 Nightmare Vines in order to spawn the Greater Nightmare Vine so you can continue the dungeon. But when my team kills the 6 Nightmare Vines they respawn when the Greater Nightmare Vine is at 60% health.

Is this a bugg or does this need some rework because I think the Nightmare Vines should stay dead after being killed.

P.S. This makes me and I believe a whole lot of other player avoid this dungeon.

No, the vines you’re seeing are new vines spawned by the boss at certain levels of health. They just appear at the same places that the first ones do.

As for avoiding the dungeon, TA is certainly not CoF but it’s one of the more popular dungeons.

Def working as intended. In fact one of the only bosses that still worries me when we start the dungeon. Trick is that they wreck things with their range attack but their melee attack is the weakest thing out there.

My theif facetanked all of them and that says something. Just have a few dedicated to junping on the adds and some that are constantly meleeing the main one.

After the 5th vine goes down, the boss spawns, and one little vine is left. At that point, most people just target the boss, because all the other adds go down once he is dead.

To answer your question, the boss spawns another little vine at 75% health and another at 50% health. If you can’t survive 3 being up, you can kill them and go back to the boss, but it’s not ideal, because it gets chaotic at the end with all the AOEs and the blossoms. You kind of want to stay put.

Note that if you wipe, you may as well restart the dungeon. When the boss resets, all the vines reset, and now you have 6 vines and a greater nightmare vine. Still doable, but harder.

Now most groups keep 1 person in a safe spot up top or on vines near the up path to hold argo of the boss and respawns allowing 4 others to melee it down easily. If no one in your group knows of either safe spot or of how range holds argo and you don’t have a group with a lot of dps then you should do it the way in the video.
