Don’t stand in red circles on the ground and wait until you are level 80 and have all exotic gear and weapons. If you and the rest of your party are in bad gear then don’t run dungeons :-)

You can do the dungeons perfectly fine at the recommended level and gear with competent, skilled players + a good group dynamics/communication.

You don’t need to be fully geared in 80 exotics, you just need gear FOR YOUR LEVEL. If you’re level 45 but half your outfit is still 38’s, you’re going to have a bad time.

The red circle + party with bad gear statement is true.

I do plenty of dungeons with people at lower levels and not wearing exotic gear and often they outperform people at 80 in full exotics. It’s not the gear or level, it’s the player.

This is bad advice and all it does it create a misinformed and unnecessarily hostile community.
