Underworld??
TA Aetherblade is a more interesting and difficult dungeon that takes all of 30 minutes to do and nobody can be bothered. Arah path 4 is quite long too and nobody can be bothered to repeat that either. Any difficult new group content needs new concepts to go with it and cannot just be a longer and harder dungeon.
Rewards are always the issue, anything that takes a while to do needs to rewards better. Its why some paths don’t get done, Rewards per Run have to be there.

That plus the fact most people abuse glitches in path to make them even faster. To the point it becomes useless to run the others.
Note: Im not saying some glitch arent VERY usefull for exemple magg lava walk from citadel of flame wich just is the most stupid gimmick ever done but crusher skipping in arah were clearly not intended.
BM: I want to present you my lovely jingle bear mia
If pet had voices: Mommy, I did it! :3

This summed it up perfectly, a few guild friends needed the TA Aetherpath for the achievements so we set a group up and ran it, the path took about 30-40mins and I got all blues from the run, the rewards just suck, but the fact they already said they aren’t looking at dungeons I don’t expect things to improve.
Actually I just hope it’ll never happen
Imagin how anet would handle the underworld.
Aatxe who are simliar to them of the qeensdale, no payment for entry , 10 waypoints – die as often as you want, you can reflect every single attack of dhuum, quests are off because more causal….
It would be an offense to the lovly gw1 content…
Everytime I see Underworld, FoW, Urgoz or Deep in a thread, it’s a stab to the heart.
Seriously. A knife right into my feelings.
Just stop dreaming… it hurts when you wake up.
UW and FoW should not be implemented as dungeons. Instances, sure. 10-20 man event oriented zones, like Orr
It would be interesting to have a open world area which would either have no waypoints or kick you out after dying.
^this. Dying (full party wipe) and a timer will cut your access to the zone until some difficult criteria is met to reopen it.
With a cap on the amount of players let inside, but megaservers screwing you over so you can’t play with your group, yeah! open world is so awesome!!!!!!
Any kind of high end skill level, uniquely rewarding, and long time input content would be great. Coincidentally, the Underworld fits in perfectly with our current state in Tyria.
Look at the current rate of Anet’s development: Four Living Story episodes over the course of 6 months.
Even if they wanted to create a UW (they don’t), I don’t think they’d be capable of doing it.
Mad King’s labyrinth is part of Underworld but I know what you mean.
I hope not. Underworld and Fissure of Woe’s implementation alienated a profession. Bad designing.
bad designing?
uw and fow were great to do with any profession.
professions arent alienated by dungeons, but by players.

You don’t think the game’s design facilitated that community.
I would wager that the difference between every MMO’s community is only the game they’re playing, so essentially the same people (figuratively) are playing Guild Wars 2 that played Guild Wars. Surely it’s only a matter of time before the community unanimously ostracizes a profession from some future content?
