Hi everyone.

So one of the components of the Legendary I am chasing requires 500 CoE tokens to purchase. Problem is it is always contested and I am literally the only person in Mount Maelstrom with the intention of actually doing that dungeon.

After about a week I had no choice but seek help. Where does one find a group for these unpopular dungeons?

I think I’ve never had a group for CoE without using gw2lfg – it’s such an underrated dungeon. the gear looks nice and distinguishable (not like all the CoF gear you see around lions arch) and has good stats, path 1 is pretty easy, 2/3 are harder because of alpha’s attack (you just have to dodge perfectly for the whole encounter). I’m in no way an expert for the dungeon though, alpha always seems to get the better of me if I stop my routine and start ressing or get crystaled. but personally I find path 1 a lot easier than every other dungeon path, except cof 1/2. just takes a bit more time.

If everyone is meleeing him the crystal will get destroyed almost instantly. The group should never spread out so much that the crystal would turn into an issue.

I know. try to tell that to other players (if you didn’t open, you can’t demand to much or you risk getting kicked). usually those are the players (1200 rangers, sb thiefs etc) which go down, so you have to ress, thats the other reason I often get down, as aborting a ress doesn’t always work. or sometimes the crystal just gets destroyed in a good group but you still die because you’re still stunned for 30 seconds thanks to a bug.

Based on ge2lfg an unpopular dungeon must be Caudecus Manor. Very few groups are signing up for that at prime time (Saturday//Sundays)

You pretty much have 3 choices, gw2lfg.com, guilded group, of go to Lion’s Arch overflow and start a group via map.

Yeah I have been noticing this common ground for unpopular dungeons, sorrows also suffers a similar fate. Shame as the armor in there is really quite cool.

I try to run all 3 paths of CoE everyday, and finding ppl to do it is fairly easy. Guildies, a friend list full of pugs who I have previously ran with and gw2lfg make it very easy to get a group together quickly. If i would rank all the dungeons by popularity I would rank CoE as third or fourth (tied with TA) so there are dungeons that are far less popular!
