I forgot to complete one full set of the Toad tokens from the most recent Super Adventure Box. I have been holding onto them in hopes that they will at least be able to be used at some point.

Of course, it is my own fault that I forgot to complete one set, but is there any chance for being able to use these in the future?

Referring to the King Toad Z-1, King Toad Z-2, and King Toad Z-3 tokens. I am aware I would need the Moto weapon design to complete the weapon, which is what I forgot to purchase.

Hoping Moto will at least sell the designs again…

If SAB returns then yes. I’d hold on to them. Wish I made them now

Yeah, I was working under the assumption that it won’t return (since they seem adamant) but was hoping there may still be an option since they had to be obtained :\

I plan to hold onto them and my infinite coin regardless, it’s just a shame.

Yeah I have that useless coin in my bank as well. Wish SAB returned so I could use it again

There was a post by Gaile about a month ago confirming that the SAB will be back in the future, even though she wouldn’t (and probably couldn’t) give a timeframe.

According to Colin Johanson, Guild Wars 2 Game Director, Super Adventure Box will be back in the future. We don’t have a timeframe for the return of the SAB, but we will be bringing back this popular content.

I know you would like more details, more info, a date, etc., but that’s not available right now. I hope the above comment reassures you, though, because at the core, the important answer is that yes, SAB will be back in the future.

Personally I don’t expect it to be back this year, but hopefully it won’t be too long into next year to see the SAB open again. I’m having serious SAB withdrawl (and so does my 8-year-old, who still goes to Rata Sum all the time to check if the box hasn’t mysteriously opened again ).

josh burned out after world 2… while anet says sab will return, it was his pet and its not very likely someone else can fill his shoes. so sab is in the realm of soon™, which is pretty much the worst place for anything to be. save your tokens, but consider those slots lost for an indefinite period of time on the order of many months to a couple years. i, too, have a toon with about 50 slots of junk items for as long as sab is on hold.

Thanks for the link to the other post – made my husband quite happy yet equally frustrated at the “soon” that Anet loves to throw around.

I think, for now, I’d be happy with a re-activation of the merchant just so I can get my warhorn lol. But that would probably be too confusing for people…
