Update on anet work for dungeons
They pretend they would care..
If anyone remember that drama with the 2 tards who stole Enaretos’ ( Sam) instance, and were “banned” according to anet, they were online yesterday. Thoughts?
Also inb4 infraction.
They probably just didn’t tow the party line with respect to only calling temporary bans suspensions, and only referring to indefinite/permanent bans as bans. In fact, I can’t quite remember them saying anything about any kind of ban or suspension. It was more like ‘showed them the door’, and other similar language, depending on which case one might refer to.
Maybe they intended to be deliberately misleading, but I sincerely doubt that is the case. It’s insanely easy to use imprecise language and for someone to then interpret something from that which was not intended (and even something that wasn’t even actually stated).
I know and I’m used to them using this “communication”, just wanted to let you know they are still around. Last time I checked they were in hotm, but if I ever see them in a dungeon…
But yeah, if they could stop faking communication with" we’re looking into it" posts and “we did what’s right” and actually do something not absolutely dense, it would be great.

Nothing is off the table? (Except you know, real, substantive communication. And more dungeons. And lots of other things, some of which are ‘officially’ not off the table, but almost certainly not on it…)

They have been online for a long time now, and in dungeons (and elsewhere too).

Basically, you steal, cheat, or be a general baddie and I’m coming with my Account-Focused Stun-Lock Cannon.
It doesn’t mention ban at all, and apparently, at best, it only means 72 hour suspension. Also, read this post and answers below (still no mention of ban): https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/dungeons/Dungeon-owner-sometimes-required/page/5#post4426646
Flash news: I’m well aware of this. I feel like it’s stupid, that’s all.
You can’t get banned by an illegal vedio, did you reed the COC?
Well check this out too before it disappears: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/wuv/Still-trolls-in-wvw-still-nothing-you-can-do
Nothing ever happens, except for maybe short temporary bans (I’ve personally had the joy to meet both of said persons on our server and only one of them has been temporarily offline) and I think instance-stealing will never be prioritized more than a minor offense
Well, if they aren’t trolling legitimate instances then why do you care if they are back? I believe people should be given second chances. Try to be a little more understanding.

The meta is changing at an alarming rate!
And don’t forget that Heitred is still running around.

Sam’s instance was legit.
I believe people should be given second chances.
Me too. If they grieve in such a blatant, rude, horrible, selfish, toxic manner as stealing another player’s solo instance, they should be permabanned, and have another chance by buying a new account.
That sort of behavior has no excuse, and the sort of people who do it are nothing but complete kittens.

“Shown the door” = short suspension, I guess.

Except they perma ban people for the snowflake exploit (which btw they only banned people who sold the ectos) and give temp bans to people who troll map chat for weeks at a time (frickin excessive assets) or steal dungeons from legit sellers. Anet just simply treats its player base like crap. I don’t know how people who are so nice to talk with while playing are so absolutely dense when it comes to communicating with the consumer base.
