Doesnt work 99% of the time. Especially when people are flying down and need to avoid flame wall half way.

Crystal already told on Stream, the Updrafts are for people with lag that take too long to get the updraft activated ONLY, its not for avoiding the flamewall, for avoiding the flamewall.

You’re supposed to communicate with your team and have an awareness of the fight in order to avoid the flame wall. When Sabetha will use the flame wall attack is very predictable. The updrafts aren’t meant to save you from having poor communication with your team and/or poor fight awareness.

Instead, it’s been stated that they exist for those who experience delayed glider deployment due to lag, thus allowing them to (probably) not die.

While anoying, the updraft is not needed. Hell they could remove them from the fight and all it would do is make players pay attention to where/if the flamewall is up.

Might even be a benefit since then people would not rely on the updraft in their movement/strategies.

Also even slight dps losses should not be an issue. Sabatha is not a fight that is dictated by dps but purely mechanics. You should have more than enough damage after having killed Goreseval.
