So, I’m sure y’all heard about the FGS nerf already.

Speedrun guilds are already deciding that the new meta to replace FGS will consist of the Norn racial elite: Become the Bear, and using Charge against foes on the wall.

So… who’s ready for Ursanway to come back?

This time, instead of grinding to r10 Norn, you grind to level 80 again on a new toon for speedrunning. YAY!

So you’re comparing a 180 cd to a 240 cd that does half damage (?) and can’t be shared with a second person? I HOPE this one won’t be meta for sure.

Do you mean half the damage?

By the way, we don’t know yet how they’re planning to nerf it. They might remove the unintended use entirely, or just nerf it, in which case it might still be a better option than bear form.

No need for sharing if all 5 are zerkerburgerbears

I guess the bear rush will get fixed at the same way as FGS rush will get.
Probably all those kind of rushs will get reworked

I wouldnt be so sure.

Snow Leopard is better, cause you can stealth before doing it for the ultimate SURPRISE DAMAGE. Lower damage but 10s recast. Between the stealth and the rush is only a couple of seconds. Guardian is the meta for the 50% elite skill duration trait, but you can take a thief for the on stealth bonuses or a mesmer to run a long way with the rush and then drop a portal. #leopardway

I thought every balancing patch resetted the speedrun records?

It should, but there will just be a new record, maybe 0.5s longer, within days (especially for lower level dungeons).

FGS rush melts a lot of bosses, but so does a fully buffed, coordinated zerk party

Even without an ele, the warrior/thief nerfs should invalidate a lot of them, IMO.
