I am unable to see the blue circle that causes teleportation during the VG Raid. The graphics are disabled entirely.

Anyone else experiencing this or has experienced this? How did you fix it? Any idea if this is a bug or possibly a damaged file? I’ve tried taking advice from other players on changing graphic settings but so far nothing has worked. Not sure what to do.

Side note: I see everything else just fine in other areas of the game.

first step is to re-launch the client.

If that does not fix it, try to repair the client. If problem persist, post in bug report section with detail on your machine & proof of incident (recording works best).

I had this happen to some friends before. In a few cases, lowering their graphics settings caused the blue circles to appear again.

the VG fight is just about the only time I have in game sounds on. Just for one reason, the blue circles.

I also have problems seeing them, but with sound on, when they get placed the game makes one of the worst sounds ever. And that is what I use as a cue instead.

I agree the sound they make us much easier to pick out than the circles themselves. It’s especially hard to see them over Mesmer wells and ele fields when they are stacked in each other. I don’t go by the circles themselves anymore at all.

If you desactivated Effect LOD, you need to activate it for VG, else you won’t see blue aoes.

I know this isn’t exact answer to your question about seeing blue but if you want to keep your current graphics, keep an eye on VG. He stops, turns for a second and turns back to tank. Thats his telegraph for blue circles. Dodge at 2 seconds from there.
Of course you won’t be able to simply walk out of aoe (well, because you cant see it) but you won’t be ported. A little dps loss when u dodge out & come back in but its only VG so you should be fine.
