So it is understood that the level is easy, rather short (in comparison to other fractals), and simple in concept, but could you do less? The problem is, of course, the end boss. If it isn’t bad enough that he himself does a ton of damage, everything else going on is pure chaos. Dodging lava plumes, hot foot condition, kiting him away from the villagers (who must be GWAMM to not take a crap ton of burning damage), Breaking his bubble shield, and all that immobilize. Yes, it is beatable, and yes it is a cool concept, but don’t you think it’s a bit much to deal with? Would anybody else like to see A-net take away at least one of the distractions?

No, i would like them to remove some dredge and put “distractions” like this cause it’s way better mechanic.

To me right now… it seems the biggest issue, are those slimes.
The number of them more specificly.

I hate that fractal, but I must admit it is the best designed battle in all game. Maybe is a harder if you dont have guardians in your group, that is a problem.

Extremely easy? I think you’re exaggerating. Is the hardest boss in all game.

Learn to play, warrior has block skills.

I agree he is one of the hardest, but that doesn’t mean he needs a nerf.

He can be defeated but people have to be prepared and on top of their game. Its a greAt feeling beating him at 35+

Use Endure Pain, shield 5 skill…

its really a l2p issue as much as a hate saying that. he’s difficult sure, but at the same time people should know what their own class is capable of, and its surprising how many dont. I cant tell you how many times i get into arguments with mesmers because they firmly believe that they DO NOT have any type of pull. sigh….

The great thing about fractals is that if a level is too hard for you, just go down a couple of notches. Too many “distractions” at Level 30? No problem, just go back to 26 or 28. Problem solved! There you can practice more and then try something harder once you’re skilled enough.

Also, take at least one guardian. Two is even better.

This is one of the interesting fights where too much dps at the wrong time can be problematic. Spawning elementals when my wall and shield are on cd? 90% GG

Sometimes I wish the elementals can be a bit squishier but that’s a very minor issue comparing to puggies who eat arrows like candy

Also that food for -40% cond duration helps (or -36% cheaper version), at least for me.

aside the last boss, the veteran part is a blatant DPS check…as if zerker was n t the answer to everything in this game they even put walls you need to pass with OP damage.

And the best part is that helps you to understand how some profession DPS is awful, while other’s is OP…

And obviously as Always the made sure to make useless most CC spells….you are not supposed to yuse CC >____< (why on earth did u put CC in the game if it doesn t work anywhere).

The more zerker ele you have the more you will fail…

The more zerker warriors you have the easier will be.

the best fight i got in gw2 was the shaman at lvl 48, was awesome so no need change, this game need more boss like him that make you say “hell yeah” when you kill him

and less “hell no” when you loot him

The boss is fine as is. It’s your group and boss knowledge that isn’t.

The boss is hard, yes, but manageable once you know how to fight it. If you have a mesmer and at least one guardian in your group it’s a cake walk.

If you’re not sure what to do watch Strifey’s videos on fotm

It is by far my favorite fractal after I learn the final part. It’s not long like dredge, it’s not boring like underwater but it’s kinda challenging.

Change to another class. ANET designed GW2 to let us swap to alts mid-dungeon, as long as you are not the instance creator.

Have a properly geared 80 of every class to accommodate every situation in the game.

A warrior complaining in PVE!? you should rephrase your sentence with necro instead of warrior. Srsly, get a guardian to put up a wall and pull the lava together then you warrior can comforty 100b down those in seconds.

Eh the boss is great it doesn’t need to be changed in the slightest.

Mind you I run a guardian so -shrugs-
