Is it possible to access the grawl fractal from the start? I know that the starting fractals are “randomized” but after about 30 min of starting fractals trying to get the grawl fractal to start (for the purpose of Elaborate Totem farming) I gave up. I got the uncatagorized fractal, the swamp, and Ascalon a bunch of times. Just wondering if this one only starts on the second or third fractal or not.

Volcanic exclusively spawns as third fractal.

You can get Swampland, Aquatic Ruins, Urban Battleground and Uncategorized as first fractal, the latter two also as second.

Yeah I figured that was the case. I guess I should brush up on my solo skills, or find a party willing to farm the grawl with me. :P

Elaborate Totem farming. From what I can tell, the Grawl are the best drops for them. I’ve been trying to farm the Grawl in Frostgorge Sound, but I think that they may have been nerfed hard due to the large amount of bots that farmed that area. After about an hour of farming that area I recieved a total of 0 Elaborate Totems, and 5 Intricate Totems. I’ve read that the Grawl in the Volcanic Fractal can easily be farmed, and have a higher drop rate for Heavy Trinket bags, and do drop Totem regularily.

Once you kill a certain amount of grawl they stop spawning. Its not something you can farm. The respawning grawl at the next stage dont drop loot.

Oh well, I can still farm gold and get them that way :P
