Tarnished Coast
Want to actually explore the exp dungeons.
Tarnished Coast
I think that there’s a guild called PASSS (Players Against Stacking Skipping Stuff). I think if you find them, that’d probably be your best bet. Otherwise, channel the mountain goat and come to arah. You’ll get better really quickly and get to see the best designed dungeon in the game.
You can open the instance yourself and run the dungeon with a group, then when it ends and everyone leaves you can explore the dungeon, if you get better at exploring you can start trying to break the maps.
AC story mode is pretty easy to solo so you could even just do that.
I was very surprised when a pug in my party showed me the hall with the pillars in AC explorable mode. I sometimes still spend like 10-15 minutes there if I opened the instance, just jumping around the pillars and having a look. It feels as if I touch the history of the game and what happened to Ascalon and all that, but I just like such places, they give me a fuzzy nostalgic feeling.
I wish more people would care about exploring….
gw2dungeons always needs more info!
Doing the dungeon run normally with an average in your own instance, then going back through after everyone has left is quite a nice idea imo.
I would be happy to run around and look at all these things too! Add me and we can explore

I don’t know Guang… We had a guild phiw CoF (drunken) fun run and jumped out of the map to fight the completely optional ooze king and queen from p3. I’d never seen them before and it was pretty cool imo. Mind you, I was drunk at the time, but it was pretty cool for a bit Something I don’t see every day.

This.
This is why I QQ about making the required bosses required for Arah. Everytime they put up an invisible wall I like the dungeon less and less.

Someone just showed me that the other day on a p1 or p2 run! (forget which) I’d been playing for over a year and never knew they were there.

I still want all the bosses required and it annoys me when people skip them, but I enjoy jumping around the map like a mountain goat for the hell of it. :P
Seems like it should be the easier (and more robust) fix, too. Dunno why they just keep throwing up walls and ruining our fun times.
Maybe it’s because there’s better job security in playing whack-a-mole?
My favorite walls are the (first) coral wall near the lobby and the one by the platform near Belka. Both could just be jumped over with minimal effort.

There is much MUCH more out there to be explored than you think.

I ask myself that quite a lot when watching some of frifox’ videos. They never disappoint.
you may keep them to rear new and interesting variants in your basement.

SO Much to find.
The turkey room in AC
Ceiling Cat and the “puzzle room” in CM
The “Racy” portrait of Logan in CM
Gaheron’s coffin in CoF
Out of the way events like:
Kill all of the ghosts in AC
Fight the Ooze King & Queen in CoF
and more, so much more. I love all the little out of the way and hidden things in dungeons.

O.o
khani, you’ll need to take me on a dungeon tour one of these days. Aside from the turkey room in AC, I never even knew any of those things existed!

Ever wonder what happens when you set the gravity to negative… XD

When I saw the water at the end i was thinking “wait, no way, is he going to survive this?!” but then no… either way awesome though
Turkey room is my favorite little easter egg that I’ve seen. Though I like the back of AC as well, seems like too cool of a room to not have anything but it doesn’t seen to be anything more than a cool room with invisible floors.
There’s even an ooze king and queen in CoF.
The creepy CM room is my favorite, although the last time I checked it out the one room no longer spins, and you couldn’t get the 12 hour retal (or whatever) buff anymore.

Heh, I’m curious to why the CM room is still there. I mean, it was clearly a design they never used, but you think they’d have got rid of it…
Maybe they just like us exploring it and thought “hey, not doing any harm”. ^^
Some random person took me to some of those crazy rooms in CM a year ago. That was really interesting and fun. It was pretty neat but I never tried anything like that since.
