Friends list. Use it. Add people that are enthusiastic about the dungeons you want to do and not only will it be easier to find a group, you can start to learn to how to cooperate with each other and work faster in completing the dungeon.

Its all good fun

No a fix of how hard they would help people succeed in dungeons better, i don’t want a cake walk but these overpowered things we have now isn’t fun.

I found CoE path 3 very hard about 4 days ago. 2 runs later, I find it very easy. The same people who started learning the path with me since my first run think this too.

Agreed. You cant just waltz into a dungeon with a bunch of random people with unknown traits, gear and experience and expect to streamroll everything.
You want something? Work for it.
Dungeons as they are now are great because they force you to become a better player. Everyone sucked at dungeons the first time around. Even the so called elitists got their kittens handed to them in AC when they first did it at lvl 35. Now days those who complained but months ago about it being too hard, complain about it being boring, lackluster and too easy.
They figured out the boss attacks, they figured out target priorities, they figured out their gear and traits to be beneficial in a group situation.

Get a friends list going of people know for dungeons and it gets a whole lot easier.

If bugs are stopping you from doing every dungeon available atm I would be quite stunned.

Read subject title. One way. Not the only way. Bugs have nothing to do with friend’s list.

90 percent or so of groups are pugs. so what you are saying is pugs cannot participate in dungeons.

What Kagari is saying is true please don’t try to discredit that. It’s true that most of the groups are pugs but if you really want to keep running dungeons over and over, specially tough ones like Arah you should def add people that stand out from the rest and start inviting them to your runs if you like them. Since you both know the dungeon better now even if the rest of the team are randoms, the run will be better. Eventually you’ll have enough people to form a good enough group to do a dungeon much faster and with much ease.

I did this mainly with Arah and still run with people I know once in a while, beating the first 3 paths usually in under an hour each, I have no problem helping them if they need another experienced player in their group.

However I pugged the rest of the dungeons, even SE with its bugs, all were randoms, not all were 80s still managed to do it, so no, I don’t really think you need to form experienced groups to beat the dungeons, but they will help clearing one regularly better.

I agree. If you find decent friendly players add them to your friend list and do dungeons with them more.

Doing it with pug is pretty nice but result is very different.

For example i did 2 cof path 1/2 run today. First with my necro and few friends. We did it without wiping at all and we had lvl 76 mesmer and lvl 77 warrior (those are friends i made before in pug). Second run was with random pugs… at path 1 already i went in to destroy that gate but one person kept running into and away from brazier so that protective bubble was up almost all time. then he claimed i was glicthing it and got kicked out…

While it’s great to do dungeons with friend you have to make some first… and pugging is only option at start or try to ask in LA for pve guilds that does dungeon runs.

Sure you can, I never said that. I said you cant expect to steamroll through them. You sure can do it but don’t *expect it to be smooth and then complain about how hard dungeons are after.
