War minster Shukov,SE path 2
It was patched with the halloween patch. Before it was pretty easy .. now its a kitten nightmare b/c he fires lightning fields fast and they do a ton of dmg. If he did’ent target the same person for 6-8 blasts it would’ent be so bad … atm tho, not worth the effort to work around an apparent (IMO) bug.
eh need that for dungeon master but dont seem rly doable…at least compared to every other instance in the game!
I did SE for the first time today ( with 2 mate and 2 pickup, always all lvl 80)
Story mode, easiest i have do.
path 3 very easy too … so let’ s go for the path 2 and … WTF
so many trash, first boss hit like a truck have a ton of hp and after healed for 50% of his hp. Other boss are ok but way to many trash.
And the nightmare begun. 5 armored golem who spawn thousand of add, no elite add hit for almost 2k ( i’m a guardian !!) you need a very good aoe dps for kill them, several wipe later ( and a change of player cause we needed more aoe ) wa finally kill them
2 Hour later the final boss, who launch ultra fast bolt with huge aoe . if you dodge 0.5 sec to late you are dead or almost ( cause you already lost 3/4 of youre life, next bolt will kill you), if you dodge in the wrong way you will land on a other aoe and you are dead. + boss with a ton of hp and aparently you have to kill them in the same time ( not a problem since we die in less than 30 sec) Just not doable or maybe only in full guild with the perfect comp of full exo player.
And extra gift of this dungeon, not a single extra waypoint, if you die at the last boss ( and you will, you have to run through all the dungeon …

You can split the 5 armored guys under the final boss by pulling them back and having some leash. Hell we screwed around with those for awhile making them spawn adds since we got a few rare drops off the first wave of adds (i’m sure that Anet will hot fix this as a top priority – summoned mobs dropping loot? OMG no)
I agree that the last boss is plain wack tho, we were 4-manning anyway and our first time on that path .. but after 5 or 6 attempts on him with different strats and looking for environmental crap to use, we just called it. Theres simply no way you can take the licks the Mk II is throwing out, you dont regen end that fast.
Either they need to put a CD on his field skill or they need to drop the damage it does. The combo of 1.5-2K ticks and the rate hes throwing them out .. is just insane!
I believe (although I don’t have the post handy to link) that a member of the dev team said that, although the Mk II Golem was supposed to be buffed, there was a bug that increased its lethality beyond what was intended.
You can exploit the AI so that one person can attack the Mk II from a place they can’t be hit, while the rest of the team pulls the Mk I away to fight separately, but that’s a pretty unsatisfying solution (though still preferable to fighting all the way through that dungeon and then having to give up at the end).
Yea I was fortunate enough to do it pre-buff and it was still a pain in the kitten cos that route was SO SO SO long and even then the last bosses were a bit of a pain to deal with but yea when I saw they buffed his dmg I was very supprised cos it waas already the least played path and now it is basicly dead to everyone
^
Wish i had known about said exploit earlier lol. We just gave up and left.
Yes there is a dev post saying that MK II is over tuned atm,

Linkey provided.
So, either ’sploit the kitten outta him in return, or just leave well alone until its eventually fixed to be less of a death trap
Just tried this and it is ridiculous to say the least. The Mark 2 Golem has to have the damage either reduced or the ability on longer cooldown. Even with the Ice Venom and other condition runes he still spams it in a matter of seconds. No human reaction is fast enough to avoid 3-4 AoE circles that tick about 1-2K per second. You’ll definitely run out of stamina to dodge.
After 3 hours of trying this dungeon’s path 2, I just gave up. I don’t think this is intended this way. Path 1 and 3 were a lot more manageable.
