Waypoints in Jotun path
nope not bugged,just a terrible dungeon layout.
We got Lupicus to 30% finally but thanks to thiskitten 1 min run everyone died and he healed up.
Sad part is that some paths have a closer waypoint to him so I really don’t understand what the dungeon designers were thinking because Arah is 400% harder than all the other dungeons and by Hard I don’t mean difficult its just frustrating,Elites everywhere with the sole intention of slowing you down and not really challanging you.
Crappy rewards for a 3-4 hours dungeon.
We ask Anet to buff dungeon rewards and what do they do?
They put a 60 token reward upon completion.(realising people will now do dungeons maybe 1-2 times a day)
you have any Idea how crappy it feels to get so far after playing for 4 hours in the same dungeon and just giving up and leaving because everyone are sokittenfrustrated?
We were so demoralised we just closed the game yesterday and stopped playing.
Arah Dungeon doesn’t need a nerf nor a buff.
It needs to be redesigned,tuning things down abit will help,but ending up repairing up to a 1-3 gold is plain wrong.
This path is probably the hardest in terms of getting to Lupicus. I actually think its bugged. If you look at the opposite door right before the steps leading down to Lupicus. You can actually unlock this door if you find the power source controlling it. There is an option that says “Open door” or something like that. You will get a reply from the door about the powers controlling the door.
Its just a guess but I think this door is supposed to be unlocked by tping onto the other side via another waypoint which is supposed to appear. Just like in the warden path, another way point appears so players can unlock the door that leads to a closer way point.
However bugged this path may be at the Lupicus area, it is still doable. With a Pug it took 3 wipes before we were able to kill Lupicus off. The last boss of the Jotun is quite interesting so its well worth the run tbh;)

Yeah besides Lupicus the bosses for the Jotun path were some of my favorites that I’ve seen so far anywhere in the game wasn’t able to see the last one though but with all the trash and the way point thing I’m discouraged from ever even trying the path again till it’s changed.
First time I got Lupicus down felt amazing. So much effort rewarded. Didn’t need perfect execution but some pretty good plays once in a while and we got him on our 4th try. I wouldn’t mind some end-dungeon bosses with abilities like his, was amazingly fun besides the little point that sometimes his big stage 2 aoe hits outside the circles.
Bug here becouse in other 3 path there is a waypoint in the blak jelly boss room. But in this path this waypoint is inactive….. BUG 100%

Only waypoint in this path was on the first boss. Anet need to put a waypoint everytime you kill a boss.

I actually think Anet is not adding a waypoint on purpose on all boss kills. It makes the dungeons too easy if there was.
They do seem to add waypoints here and there to help us players a bit.

3 path on 4 has the waypoint near Lupicius why not this path? If u die at Lupicius u have to run for like 4 5 min O.o

Well its possible to beat Lupicus even with the long run, but as Ive mentioned above. If you scroll a bit, you will see that the waypoint near Lupicus is probably bugged.
