No treadmill crap, no baby easymode crap.
The dungeons aren’t worth it.
We all play for that little rush, and in current dungeons you don’t get it.
You can fix this without introducing gear treadmill, very easily too.
1. Rewards
The rewards you get are terrible. Not talking about the cosmetics, as of last patch dungeons have become a gold sink, not even for the CHANCE of making money, you’ll almost always lose it. Reverse the change. In fact, give us more for doing the dungeons. You get much more from doing event chains in Orr and it costs much less time and money.
2. Tokens
Change the way tokens work.
Tokens are universal now, for each dungeon. Not soulbound either.
Instead of buying the gear, they buy mystic forge pieces. “Unbound” pieces.
You can buy the bindings from the vendors or have them drop.
For example, forging a staff piece and a twilight binding gets you a twilight arbour staff. The bindings are very cheap.
1h weapon – 1 run
2h weapon – 2 runs
chest piece, legs – 3 runs
shoulders, helmets – 2 runs
boots, gloves – 1 run
3. Remove grave rushing
It’s making content trivial.
You don’t feel like you’ve accomplished anything when you’ve just grave rushed the boss.
“Well don’t die then”
I obviously don’t die on purpose and I’m not going to just wait for my team to res me.
Make waypoints locked when the boss is aggroed.
4. Balance
This is obvious.
