I did him this evening for the first time since pre-Halloween (maybe September-ish?). Such fond memories of a challenge overcome, and quite frankly he was the ONLY challenge that’s needed to be overcome for me as far as dungeons go.

We didn’t even have to kill a single crystal. He just fell over. What happened!

According to dev post, they only changed toughness of crystals. Probably an average level of pug is much higher than it was closer to launch, just recall how many people were saying that AC was hard.

Eh just to point out. You didn’t have to kill a single crystal before either, if you had permanent poison and strong dps…
You can still search up the vids on utube, the people who ran it at that time just dps’ed him down. What they did was decrease the regen so even a group with just mediocre damage can dps him down.

If that’s what they said, they were lying. The crystals seem to die on their own now.

Spam poison. Problem solved.

p.s. Boss can wipe out all the crystals in the room with some skill
