Hi all,

Had a quick question before I spend a ton of laurels. I recently got my Distinguished Circle of Logic as my first piece of ascended gear, and am looking to get an infusion for it. I haven’t run fractals yet (lol noob) so I’m not sure if I’m going to need agony resistance down the line if turns out I do want to run fractals. Should I hold out and wait till I know, or is it fine to just spring for a +20% magic find infusion? Would losing the 5 AR from that slot potentially hold me back eventually?

You only need Agony resistance for the boss fights in FotM. So if you want a MF amulet, just buy another one (with utility slot!) and switch to the AR one when needed.

Distinguished Circle is a utility, but yes, point holds that if you find yourself needing it you could get another amulet to put an AR infusion in.

Anyway, except for the jade maw, all attacks that carry agony can be dodged. Check out Obal’s guide whenever you start doing fractals for how to dodge the attacks. He focuses on melee tactics, but the tells will still be the same at range for dodging the attacks.

Well personally I would rather go with the karma infusion since it’s such a pain to get now. Besides even with over 100% magic find at the moment I have not noticed any real difference in drop quality.
