I missed feedback on Lupi 2 times in a row. 80% positive I had some lag, I just apologized to the group and took the blame.
Sorry Chuck!
Like everyday I ran arah with noobs from my server in order to fill the party, all because I don’t have a guild I can play with.
My good deed is killing people in WvW

My good deed is not reporting BHBs when they report my posts
Joined an arah run with 1 of my followers
Helped some people from this forum kill the Lich in the Labyrinth.

After I do my Arah runs for the day, I sometimes run them again and give my slot to guildmates who are too noobish/casual to do Arah.

I carried a party through arah p2 last night. 2 players were new to arah, 1 were new to the path and another with little exp. I had to basically solo phase 3 of GL. At least it was good practice for my solo
From my experience of being new to Arah and having someone wanting to solo him while the rest of us were on the floor, I can assure you I never thought “kitten this guy is so nice”. It was more like “this guy seriously needs to get a twitch channel”.
everyday I go into CM and carry pugs who don’t know what reflects are and like to tank dmg. :/

It is without doubt humiliating to be laying on the floor while someone solos a boss, but once you’re dead you kinda give up the right to complain about it. While you may look at it as a waste of your time, a few more whipes could be an even larger waste of his time.

Not only because it’s humiliating and boring, but because you don’t learn anything from being on the floor spectating a guy soloing Lupi. That’s something you can do better on youtube.
(Not even counting that the few times I had people trying to do this, they failed 15 minutes later)
I was part of a group of players who ran back into L3 of the Toxic Tower to revive fallen players. I don’t know if that counts as a dungeon, but I thought it was a pretty good deed.
By Ogden’s hammer, what savings!

Actually I learned a lot from spending time dead watching exactly what other people are doing. Phase 2 AoE’s gave me so much grief because I couldn’t chain my evades correctly, I didn’t understand the mechanic of the attack, so naturally the first time he did it I took a dirt nap, but after that I could watch what other players were doing to avoid it. From a simple dodge, pause, dodge back in to teleporting to blocking, etc etc. Phase 3 learning the exact timing of evades for single target lifesteal, the list goes on. If you are regularly dying early on against Lupi then it’s reached the point where throwing yourself at him again and again isn’t working, you’ll have to go the extra effort to understand why it isn’t working. Which is most easily done by watching someone else succeed, so you can copy them.
Think I ended up watching SynSity’s Thief solo vid to figure out those kitten AoE’s, such grief, much annoy, very rage quit.

I taught someone solo and group tactics for Arah in a one on one environment.
Later they messaged me thanking me and told me of their successful run and were proud that they were able to do Lupi in melee.
This is the closest I will ever be to being a proud parent.

i helped some low lv to get skill point while i was farming platinum for incinerator
dungeon wise: i patiently stealthed mesmer 3 times in a row through harpies in fractals because he kept dying to them for w/e reason
[Teef] guild :>
I’ve been duoing lupi and we finally managed to down him with me soloing p2&3. Most of what I learned came from dirt napping in rezardi’s charity runs and some great advice from deSade. If you put your ego aside and watch carefully, there’s a lot you can gain from watching. You can think about what you did, look at what the person is doing differently, and try out new strategies next time.
We had a non-english speaking, eternity wielding guardian join our 4man group for “Be VERY experienced, arah p2, Know what you’re doing” group.
We carried her the whole way, and only a couple of times did chuck make a comment along the lines “So eternity doesn’t help you dodge?”
My good deed: I did not vote to kick her so we could just 4man it.
