A big reason why FotM seem like such an endlessly tedious grind to me is because I personally see no discernible difference between Fractal levels within the same “tier”.

I.e. FotM level 10 feels just like level 19 and level 29 feels just like level 20.

Hell, the differences between the “tiers” become less and less significant as we progress. The only constantly increasing element is damage from Agony.

Maybe I’m missing something that isn’t obvious to me but what’s the point of all these different levels if there’s no difference between them all?

Mobs do slightly more damage/have slightly more health.

It’s a fairly minor change, but it is somewhat noticeable. I’ve seen groups fail at 16/17/18 that would have succeeded at level 10.

Bosses have more defiant stacks on them too.

29 seems much harder than 20 to me. There are even enemies in places in 29 that aren’t present in 20.
