Dungeon : Aetherpath (not really that hard, but harder than most)

Fractal : Archdiviner or Mosman at the highest fractal level. (It’s not necessarily hard, but it’s long and it’s easy to make mistake in that time)

Raid : Sabetha or the lastest boss you are now at. For exemple, right now my group mostly have a hard time with Sloth and I heard that matthias is something. But they are new and I remember feeling the same at VG, at Gorsveal and at Sabetha. They are hard because you are learning them. That said, so far (and keep in that i didn’t completed the 2nd wing yet) Sabetha is the hardest one, mostly because when someone make a mistake there, they usually die and this make the fight a lot harder for everybody. I’ll will probably have a better option in 1-2 months when I practice enough all the 2nd wing.

Dungeon: Foreman spur
Fractal: high level imbued shaman (although I am basing this on pre hot 50)
Raid: matthias (although I have yet to beat it)
Overall: staying in a hot map without it closing

Wait until you try and melee something while the exalted suits of armour play pinball with it in the north lane of DS. 2sec cd on those pushes and pulls

People are making just some “extra” handicaps to these, when it comes to actual content you don’t look it as soloing dungeons or such.

Hardest dungeon boss?
- Probably Vahid, though it can be easily cheesed.
Hardest fractal boss?
- Without counting instabilities, Either Imbued Shaman or Mossman (Ty anet for making all fractals faceroll though)
Hardest raid boss?
- Mechanicly Matthias, as it’s a longer fight with lots of stuff to be vigilant about though Sloth can be tricky without enough coordination to pull him properly while maintaining proper reflects and such.
Hardest PvE content overall?
- Trying to make pugs not wipe @ towers in DS.

Hardest in term of what? You can’t tell me raids are hard, since many guilds got them fully cleared in the first 12 hours. Maybe hard for some people. As well as you can get in a pug with 9 failers, you can get in a pug that will faceroll the raid regardless of your performance. For me hard stuff means something that fully depends on you. Also, on the raid topic, you can get your credit card, buy some gold, buy a raid run and get that eternal title in 60 minutes flat.

I’ve spent this week 4 hours and around 15 minutes in Ascalonian Catacombs(p2 or p3, the one with the boss that requires you to pull kitten in order to break his shield). other 4 guys were f2ps that just started. I can honestly say I’ve never had a raid run last more than 4 hours. Does that make a level 35 dungeon harder that a raid? Hope you see my point

Jumping puzzles without a mesmer will always be the hardest form of PvE for me. Also, getting some of the LS achievements solo. Getting the 3 achievements solo, in one run, at the Shadow of the Dragon(LS2 act4 ending) was the hardest thing that I have done in the game, by far.

For me, I found the hardest PvE encounter was the arm seals of the Cliffside Fractal on level 94. If there is one fractal level you cannot complete from all 100, it’s because of this this fractal and this encounter. Forget this fight on lower levels, I only mean 94.

He’s more irritating than difficult though, especially if you’re packing a decent ranged weapon.

Not the hardest I guess but some of the LS2 achievements were fairly challenging solo. Even moreso when you think about how hard it is to not lose your mind if you fail and have to go through the whole kittenty episodes again.

Imo it’s always ‘easier’ to do solo content, although it is harder. What raiding makes hard is that 10 people have to concentrate, not only you.

That said, the hardest content I ever played in this game was:

- Liadri
- Vale Guardian
- Achievements at last boss in Living World Season 2

I love content like this.

Fighting to stay aware and present after 5 minutes of not having to do anything at Sabetha and… wait, which cannon is it again?

Hardest PvE content is

getting decent synergizing groups, with no fakers, using corect specs and rotations and food

When you’ve managed it’s all faceroll afterwards

And as for actual content:

• PvE Liadri
• LS Migraine without bugging out
• Fractals: Thumanova with slow on conditions and condition on hit… 64 could be right on this one… have been feared of 4 times in a row sometimes getting fears 2 times in a row, booth cleansed only to die through immobilize seconds later… never experienced lvl 94 though.
• Raid Getting a non-raid guild to group up for a raid with decent builds…. Since the collapse of dungeons I’ve seen ppl in rare’s running around insisting they have endgame gear.
• Dungeons: Getting a dungeon party while still asking for experienced runners and being forced to watch all noob msitakes by 1-4 other players…. again, again and again…. to a point where I’m duo-ing bosses just to get stuff done.

No I’m not a SOLO-er
