What can I do to “quickly” get a golden fractal weapon? I was thinking grinding 76-100 would be the quickest way to do so. I’ve never done any of them before. I just did 1-25 for the normal fractal chest.

Grind 76-100…. grind T4 dailies.

All the while be thankful there’s a guaranteed way to get the one you want.

You can buy gold relics for 3g and 12 Pristines each. Then, you can play the RNG game by throwing 4 of them into the forge.

The more guaranteed option would be to buy the Gold weapon crate from BLING. 30g and 120 Pristines per weapon, and you get a maximum of 15 Pristines per day.

To get a specific one:

Mystic Forge, cost = 80 gold + 120 pristines + 20 regular

• 10 gold relics = 30 gold + 120 pristines
• [blue version of skin] = one Fractal Weapon Crate, cost = 20 regular relics
• 100 ecto + 50 stabilizing matrices = ~50 gold

BLING’s Gold Fractal Weapon Crate = 110 gold + 120 pristines + 300 regular

• 10 gold relics = 30 gold + 120 pristines
• 20 Integrated Matrices = 200 stabilizing matrices + 300 regular relics = 80 gold + 300 regular relics

The second method is only going to be cheaper (in coin) if ecto spike and matrices take a dive. I don’t expect that to happen anytime soon.

The RNG method that Rashy mentions is much cheaper at <15.5g + 48 pristines. However, you only have a 1:19 chance to get the skin you want.

• 4 relics = 12 gold + 48 pristines
• 5 ori ingot = ~0.25 gold
• 10 Crystalline Dust = ~1.9 gold
• 3 stabilizing matrices = ~1.2 gold

tl;dr

• if you don’t have any gold skins yet, use the random recipe
• if you have more than ~8-10 gold skins, use the forge recipe
