Whats an bug exploit glitch? Ban thematic
Preeeeetty sure that everyone knows that glitching outside of a map is a bug/exploit. That seems to be the cause of most of the recent bannings. Don’t glitch outside of maps is a good start.
And why are thaousends of players using that glitch if its so obiviouse. Does Anet not know about that glitch. They have just to say thats an glitch dont use it. Thats all. ANd out of thouse thousend players their would be maybe just a handfill left that would use it. Why should ppl risk their acc for a handful gold exp and tokens if it is so obiviouse.
Look at AC hundrets of sellers and buyers. Will they ban them all. Lol
As long as anet keeps himself in silence. It is a grayzone. And ppl will use it. Thats easy to understand.
You sound like you’re one of those arah p2 exploit sellers and or lupi skippers.

This.
Just don’t glitch outside of maps. That is 99% of the problem with exploits in the game. ANet’s policy is not to discuss possible exploits, so they’re not going to say this. But it’s obvious they mean business now, and that’s great (except for those caught in the crossfire… )
Btw— I haven’t heard anything about buyers being punished, only sellers.
The issue is that anet is incompetant at fixing exploits. I cannot believe they havent realized that invisible walls dont work. You cannot blame players for abusing something you have failed to fix beyond count. The entire map of arah is a huge jumping puzzle and its actually pretty fun to explore. To stop exploiters using this to their advantage they need to fix boss and reward triggers… Skipping lupi and several bosses in p3/p4 is the real issue here, not the actual skips.
Summoning consumables are a blatant bug.

It’s because those who work on dungeons get moved away/fired so they make the same mistakes over and over again. After the initial CoF bans Anet also became much less vigilant about banning exploiters.
The first thing they did back when TA was jumpable to the Nightmare Tree (still actually possible to do the jump despite invisible wall), they made it so you had to finish the other bosses before it triggers which was the right way to go. I believe that was Jeff Grub.
But then the dungeon team got moved away so then they took forever placing invisible walls everywhere, CM being most notorious. Then when HotW’s and CoE’s jumping puzzles surfaced, they finally got their act together and fixed the trigger sequence along with placing more invisible walls. That was Hrouda.
Now we have part-time dungeon team who are back to square one in dealing with this issue and Arah’s added invisible wall counts are now higher than the infamous CM back in it’s day.

Someone who places invisible walls does not have the same skillset or experience to go through and redesign the gating mechanics behind NPC triggers. It also would also definitely require a lot less testing to make sure it didn’t break more than it fixed.
I dont know why u guys are discussing just arah. Its just a handfulplayers at arah who sell it. Look at AC their are thousund of players. Ppl are selling dungeons for 0.75g. Its not just greed for gold like u guys want to see the world.
