When does dungeon DR reset? It doesn’t reset at 12 AM GMT

I finished an Arah run 4 hours before 12 AM GMT and an AC run 20 minutes before 12 AM GMT.

I did the same path AC run right after 12 AM GMT when I verified that my daily achievement reset to 0. I received 30 tokens. Then I did the same path Arah run 3 hours after 12 AM GMT and also received 30 tokens.

When does dungeon DR reset and is there a way to tell before you complete the dungeon?

Usually it resets when dailies reset, which is 12:00 AM GMT. Though, if you receive less tokens than normal, it might also be because you’re doing dungeons too fast. I know that was the case for me when the same group I was in was chain-running explorables like a bunch of crazies soon after the reset. Before FotM came out, we did HotW Butcher path, SE Inquest and Military paths, CM Butler path, CoF Magg and Ferrah path, all three AC paths, and we would be done in about 4~5 hours. Eventually we would hit the DR around the first or second path of AC, maybe even CoF if we went too fast. It’s weird how DR works, but it’s generally done to minimize speed-runners and exploiters.

As far as telling if you’ll hit DR? There really isn’t any way to tell until it’s too late. Instead, if you feel you’re running the dungeon too fast, you might have to slow down. For instance, If you usually skip Kohler, might as well go ahead and kill him. You get a chest and waypoint; and one of my guildies was super-lucky to get a precursor. Results not typical of course, but at least it tacks on one just a minute or two on the timer (at least it does with my group).

Speed running is not a bad thing. DR shouldn’t even bloody be in-game.

I agree that speed-running is not bad, but for some folks, there’s usually a fuzzy line between speed-running and exploiting. I don’t mind running past a few mobs that don’t normally aggro you, but glitching through walls and terrain to bypass a considerable amount of the dungeon itself is a red flag in my books. The way I see it is this: if it aggros you, it dies. Exceptions would be certain mobs that carry the Determined buff, then either find another way to kill it (like a bundle or environmental weapon) or run knowing that it’s probably intended for that mob to be immune forever.

If you do a run before the reset and do 1 after you won’t get 60shards its their DR system… Happened to me before

I just got 30 tokens, I did 4 dungeon runs, and on the 5th I received 30 tokens. How long do I have to wait for it to reset? I don’t want to do Arah and get 30 tokens or less.

Is it 1 hour? 2 hours?
