Which bosses drop silver?
I want to use omnomberry bar before boss death but how I will recognize if boss will drop silver or not?
Rule of thumb: If they are a Legendary Boss (purple ring around their icon) they drop silver.
LVL 80’s: Thief / Warrior / Guardian / Mesmer
Thats not a good rule. Plenty of champions drop silver, too. Like worm boss in TA drops 10s. Its a champion.
And I can also think of legendaries which drop no silver.

True, I’d forgotten about the worm boss in TA…. Most bosses that also result in a chest drop silver, but things like the Bridge Boss in CoF only drops 1s, even though he’s a champion the same as the Wurm in TA.
What legendaries don’t drop silver? Only one that comes to mind for me is maybe Subject Alpha but I don’t spend enough time in CoE to be 100% on that statement…

This varies from dungeon to dungeon, but here’s a few I can name off the top of my head:
AC
- Spider Queen
- Lt. Kholer
- Howling King
- Ghost Eater
- Colossus Rumblus
- Champ Graveling Scavenger
- Champ Graveling Howler
- Champ Graveling Stalker
A better rule of thumb is probably to keep track of which bosses drop the coins (usually 5s or higher), especially if it’s a run you’re doing regularly. I’ve noticed no set pattern between the dungeons. For example, some of Alpha’s encounters in each CoE path do not drop coin, and he’s a legendary (purple border).
