Guild Wars 2

I have all class alts, 6 at lvl80 w/ exot gears, and am debating which one(s) to bother fractal leveling. I like them all on regular pve/dungeon content. I played eng up to lvl 18 with rare mf gear with no AR for the challenge of it but I read somewhere they are not the preferred class later on so stopped there.

I am sure this got asked before but which classes are viable at 30+/40+ fotm at the moment? Which class do you enjoy the most on high levels? Are very high levels fun after the first few runs or are they just for gear/skin grinding?

effective guardian, warriors….mostly.

The difference between viable and effective means 1,5 2 hours runs compared to 1 hour runs with 1/4 effort required…

Guardian, Warrior, Mesmer
Thief on Dredge, other classes not needed.

If you want to decide on one class I’d say guardian is the way to go. War has nice damage, Mes a lot of tricks so if you want to play with guild you can roll these as well. But if you want to play with PUGs I’d suggest Guardian, so every PUG will want you in thier party.

Thanks all. Those were my thoughts as well. I’ll go Guardian. I like guardian in regular dungeons as well, it helps when you can support average PUG team so there are no wipes, no rage quits or fights.

Guardians. Highly recommended to have at least 2 guardians in party above 30.
I generally play guard in pugs since it’s easier to keep the noobs alive
Beyond that, anything else is good.

All of them work at that level, and much higher.

All can do it but its most effective with Guards, Warriors and a Mesmer.
