Why only Warrior and Mesmer can play a COF Speed Farm?
Why Warrior has higher DPS and Def than a thief??
Why we play thief are kicked by every party?

Why do you consider war/mesm farm so important and essential?

I have no idea. I’m acutally a warrior in Tsuiki’s group before, with 2 thief.

And ironically, that was the fastest run I ever did. And I do about 60 cof speed run a day.( I only start doing cof run recently )

Form your own group then.

Did 8 runs with PuG (Ele, Mesmer, 2 Warrior and a thief)..Went smooth (about 8-9 mins each run)..

It depends on how you play and support the team.

Why don’t you check the lfg message and join the ones saying all classes welcome?
Why don’t you take some initiative? (:D)
Why don’t you form your own group?
Why don’t you go ahead and find like minded people?
Why don’t you give it a try and see how easy to form a CoF farming group not asking for just mesmers and warriors?
Why don’t you prove with your own group that it can be just as efficient?
Why don you come here to complain about this century old topic here instead?

1 thief is actually optimal for CoF, they have the fastest gate control possible. (By the time you do a hundred blades on warrior they’ve already broken it.)

My fastest times have been 2 warrior 1 thief 2 mesmer. All DPS, all actually working together. (1 time warp for slaver driver, mesmers and thief take the back two acolytes with range, thief has the fastest gate control, and then you can double up on timewarps for the effigy [Which is faster DPS.])

I joined a group didn’t say thief is forbidden
I’ve try forming group but sometimes joining is faster
And every group that has played with me know a good thief can be better than a warrior, but how can someone who kick me because I’m a thief see that?
Finally, I’m not complaining players who kick a thief, but complaining Anet why setting Warrior to be better

Gimme your teleports/stealth/auto-evade attacks, then you can have our damage/defense.

So you want to be a warrior, but not have any of our downsides and still keep your thief abilities? Sounds reasonable.

I think a thief should have higher DPS to a single target.
the problem is, now a thief has lower armor than a warrior
but not return in higher DPS
yes we have stealth, but stealth is only taking a break in a combat
and we can’t attack, but can be attacked

if you say we lost DPS and armor in return of gain stealth
what warrior lost?
what other profession gain??

Actually, you get higher DPS on initial attack within cloaked state. Which is pretty kitten! And of course the thief will have a lower defense, it wears medium armor kitten … it would be hilarious if it had more defense. Or imagine a thief with heavy armor, like … seriously? You get a lot more dodge rolls and evasive skills, so failing with thief is your fault, not profession’s

I for one love to have thieves around in my groups, I don’t like berserker thieves.

In fact it’s not really high DPS for a stealth attack,
but it’s really low armor…..
and I’m a berserker thief, I don’t see any problem to dodge every attack from COF P1 boss….it’s so easy to dodge…

They probably don’t invite you for path 2 though. Which after the update can become very messy very quickly, and you don’t really have time to res squishy characters

This may sound bit absurd but if you want to have heavy armor, high health pool and good damage then roll a warrior.

Thief can match warrior DPS but few thieves actually do it. Most will just auto attack with daggers or backstab. If you want to compete with warriors, pistol whip spam is the way to go.

Just form your own groups, I do so all the time and it usually works out.

No, they actually cant. My thief runs full ascended gear, glass cannon. My war runs PVT. My war does more DPS. tested.

PVT war will never exceed dps of glass cannon thief (or other proffesions like mesmer). What you see are only big numbers without consideration of other factors. Tested.
