Why was the Risen Abomination nerfed?
Wait, they got nerfed? Aw. That was HILARIOUS.
Resident Thief
??? They were actually buffed yknow
Undeads and Kraits were all buffed in February patch.
You can now see some of the undeads got some new move such as shadowstep.
Some adds summoned by bronze undead now actually have their adds explode on your face. Soloing them become much more frustrating in fact.

I am not talking about the general population of undead, I am talking about the Risen Abomination.

Risen Abomination is generic.

Champion Risen Abominations are not. They got given a massively powerful charge move that got faster and almost unavoidable with huge stacks of Frenzy. Apparently that’s been nerfed, I guess.
Resident Thief
People only kill that champion so plinx can restart anyway.
IMO killing champions is a big waste of time, even a normal risen that dies in 5 sec gives better loot.
Anet should buff the champions loot a bit.
I think OP is referring to the Champion Risen Abomination in CoE, seeing that this is a dungeon sub forum….
I think it was removed because with high Frenzy, the Abomination would literally hit you quicker with that rush that its model could follow.
Wasn’t like everyone just skipping that abomination?
Haven’t done that path since the changes(I don’t run dungeons very often) but if they have removed the charge then the reason seems pretty obvious. The dungeon was not designed with that sort of mob, the buff to the encounter was an unintended side effect of changes for other parts of the game.
On the other hand it should not have a horribly fast charge unless you have people who fail at dodging the very slow frenzy building attack or you have a party member trying to grief people by purposely getting hit.

Illusions/NPC help him building his frenzy unfortunately.
I was in fact speaking of the one in CoE, and my guild never skips anything, cept that crab, in that dungeon. I loved that guy… he was hilarious.
