It would be great if all dungeons have one path that is soloable. It doesn’t mean it’s going to be easy. But the challenge will be fun and offer those players who prefer solo content a means to get dungeon gears without having to find groups.

I think most dungeons do have one O.o

Lets see: AC, CM, TA, SE, HotW (?) and Arah do all have solo’able paths. CoF doesn’t, CoE just with glitching through one door.

I know you can bypass both doors with swiftness, but we never got the boss to engage.

He just sat there with his minions circling him as we ran around the room.

That was already fixed months ago. At least concerning my knowledge you can’t solo CoF path 1. You can exploit your way through path 2, though.

You could probably do P2 legit if you came up with some clever tactics

I don’t think there is a legit way to solo that “get all those orbs in 2 minutes” event.

I wouldn’t be surprised if someone could do it, if they bothered to try.

Cof p2 solo has already been done (5 or 6 month ago and as far as i remember it was legit without bugs or exploits), but that was when you could kite the event before the boss, now you have to kill assasins and trashmobs, bomb part is not the problem

I don’t know are you guys kittened or just kittened but there is a topic with dungeon solo videos so you can stop guessing.

I think OP meant that mobs would be scaled down in health so that solo players won’t have to take forever to kill a mob.

18 hours of LFG and still no one wants an ‘unexperienced’ CoE player. I would rather just play the whole game single player.

Just go in there with full PVT and do as the others do.

There are several dungeons where it can be painfully obvious that someone is failing to contribute. CoF 2 is one of them.

Never spent more than 30 mins on lfg before I found a group for anything, this includes story lines, obscure paths like cof p3 and so on. You’re doing something wrong.

I hardly get to go on gw2 much anymore, and when I did get to go on and took a visit to gw2lfg, there was actually an lfg saying “coe p2/3, noobs welcome”.

Failing that, watch it on youtube. That’s what I did before I took my mesmer in for the first time so I knew all of the mesmer specific strategies.

the only time i had real difficulty finding a group was for arah P4, that took 3 days to find a pug

was it worth it?

were they experienced arah runners camping range on the bosses?

yeah got the path done, took a while but it wasn’t terrible, especially considering at least 2 people had no exp in arah
