If your on Na, come fractal with me. We can pretend to recover your run by doing another one =)
I think there is a bit more here than meets the eye..
Let me explain thought you are specd in zerker armor – you may not be running an optimal build and trait setup depending on the team you are with. With one warrior you may want str/discipline banners and a axe/mace+GS rotation (with phalanx build for certain fractals- don’t know which ones. You had) and some ranged weapon. Without knowing how you played that FoTM in detail it’s impossible to say why you were kicked.
It’s a journey eventually you meet some really good groups/friends out there that have the patience to explain or assist what could I do better for the team?
Unfortunatly with fractals and dungeons – many players have been kicked for stupid reasons such as trying to educate indivuals about little things they can do to improve a run, or solo lupi/Arah for them!
They kick as they want to re spawn quickly instead of appreciating the fact what someone is attempting to do for them.
Never ever ever join parties that advert ‘zerk only’, your chances of this kind of experience are multiplied tenfold in those groups.
There’s something about the mindset in those demands that also seems to correlate to the kind of “ITS ALL YOU GUYS FAULT” or “KICK FOR GODKNOWSWHY” attitudes.
Let them just stew with each other and run in other groups.
I don’t see how “zerkers” is relevant -I have seen the same behaviour in PHIW groups.
One thing I know for sure … People are inherently flawed and will make the worst decisions at the best of times .
Long live the rise of the machines and bow down to our new eternal overloads.

It’s not zerker per se, it’s people that put limits on their groups like that. It’s a sign of a particular mindset about play. “Heavy Only” or “No Rangers” are just as much a bad sign as ‘zerk only’.
Ive had very enjoyable pugs the last couple of days with people who advertised as “experienced zerker” or “elite runs”. A couple of them were even filled with 2-3 from the same guild.
The ones you should watch out for are the ones that put restrictions which are based on ignorance. Such as AP requirements, heavy only or no class x. But as TPMN said its a gamble. Sometimes you just get put in a group full of morons and that can happen with any or no lfg description.

I don’t know how everyone get kick so often. I do 6-7 pick up dungeon runs a day. I think I only get kicked 3 or 4 times. And all of those are my own fault. Maybe I’m just lucky.
i cant make a judgment on whether you deserved to be kicked or not without seeing a video of your run, sorry
head here to discuss wvw without fear of infractions

Zerk runs have been fine for me. “Meta” “ping gear” or “heavy only” have been the bad signs for me.

This. You got kicked 5 days in a row OP? Something something log in your own eye?
try being a necro in 40 to 49 range. You get the fun job of advertising 42, 43, etc with a necro. Your party will be there for you in 2 hours if they are all patient and willing to wait. On the upside you meet nice people that way ^.^

No offense but most people only do 40 or 50 because of the ease of the instability. That might equally be why you have such a long wait.

Zerk runs have been fine for me. “Meta” “ping gear” or “heavy only” have been the bad signs for me.
To my experience, it’s more general than that… no specific message, but requirements (except for AR, which are weirdly necessary) are generally bad news.
In my experience pugging, “zerk only” groups are generally more faster and smoother than “all welcome” groups. There is a valid reason why those lfg descriptions exists; even more so when they require players to ping, or more specifically when they ask for “meta”. “Heavy only” “no rangers/necro” are the groups you want to avoid.
I think I can tell what people advert in their LFG’s from the comments in this thread. :p
I dunno, I only advert frostbite.

Generally it’s this for me:
No message = new players or set in their way bad players
Zerk = generally pretty experienced but not too elitist
Meta/Ping Gear/Blahblah or kick = Bunch of jerks not worth spending the time with even if you do fit their criteria.
Certainly exceptions but that’s my general rule of thumb when pugging the last month or so.
That all said, I’ve only advertised parties half a dozen times. Usually just “p1” or whatever. When i did have a set group I ran with I was forced to put an LFG up once… they never let me again “Alcoholics only!” It was an interesting and fun run though my buddies disagreed and I never had to put the lfg up again.

I think its a sliding scale; The more people feel the need to enforce their build preferences the more likely they are to be problematic in the way discussed
The other side of the scale might be true as well, but most of the content is so kitten easy that the low end doesn’t matter much — well , unless you’re high enough on the scale to care about enforcing builds in some way.

Well, like last night I ended up having to nearly solo half of p1 arah for my group. Now, that said it was very fun and a very nice group of people so I’m not complaining. Just saying it fit my expectation that “p1” was probably some newer or bad players, in this case just mostly newer players.
I’m not always down for that experience. I generally shoot for the “zerk/experienced” groups because it’s in my experience that nice middle ground, I can expect them to be experienced but they aren’t usually as hardcore and demanding as the groups that have more than just that as a request.
I normally join and create “all welcome” groups, and on occasion i join “zerk”/“meta” groups. If you read and comply with specific LFG descriptions, most cases all goes well.
If people want certain builds in their party, it is their prerogative and their right. If player join those types of parties in full compliance of the LFG requirements there would be no problems. It jsut takes a little longer to fill/weed out.
With all that said, there is no doubt that “zerk/meta” lfg requirements goes faster and smoother and generally w/o drama. To say otherwise tells me you dont pug much.

The problem is that if anything at all goes wrong it goes to pure kitten.
All groups go well if the run goes well, build police are more likely to yell at people if a mistake was made — even if the mistake was their own.
And that’s why I avoid those groups. It’s just like the guy who’s yelling at everyone else for playing wrong if their unranked pvp is losing. It’s a calculation, and I’d rather have a less optimal run than some idiot screwing up a run section and then screaming at the group.

the most parties that I see are 49, but they always want warrs, guards and eles only. Aaaaand I’m not grinding that whole AR all over again.
“[No level required] Let’s walk lightly in Up path” → LFG was pending for 20 minutes, unfilled.
“[80 only] Experienced, Zerker meta, Up path” → LFG was filled within 2 minutes.
The run still ended well though.

Oh! But that’s the beautiful thing. If you make another light class (ele or mesmer) you can share AR with your necro. Your ascended stuff is account bound! That’s what I’m doing with my thief/engi.

I have all the classes however my necro’s gear would weaken my ele so much XD

Oh I see – someone didn’t go full ascended zerk :P

I don’t like zerk in general.
My necro is a mix between power and condi and my ele is a mix between power and vitality :P
