Not to say thoroughly how you can still do it, but try checking above the ship and close that too because i had a group of from France (that’s what you find on gw2lfg) that didn’t want to do it normally, even if it took us 30 minutes to learn how to reach the same grey wasteland that let you skip the last part.
Please fix that, I’m sick of these players. I was tempted to leave the group and throw them all out since i was the instance owner. Then I told them I was sick so kill the boss, because i was failing so bad at trying to jump down from the ship.
At last they managed to kill it and all good, the problem is that it took 30 minutes instead of 5 so i don’t know where the advantage is to use it in a pug.

I tried using that ship for like 30 minutes, failed over aand over again.
Never attempted again so far, the normal way is just so much easier and faster.

I like French players. Though some are too dependent on exploits which can lead to awkward moments, they are the most creative players in EU when it comes to tactics.

it’s plain faster to just run through the mobs anyway

but some of my french collegues don’t wanna run they want to use the boat because it is “safer”. I asked my group yesterday if they wanted to run or use the boat. They choose boat

But i think that when players find exploits like that, they are not really game breaking and should just be made real pathes, like they removed the mobs from the way at the top of the cliff alongside the mine field (though that ain’t an exploit). Or they could just plain add mobs at the tob of the map too Like an eagle nest with a champion and lots of kiddied that pop Those kitten ed hunters must be getting their eagle from somewhere.

And how ’bout having those kind of optionnal bosses to remove skills from monsters ? They would allow some pugs maybe to fail a bit less ^^

I don’t know how PUGs do it, but the way I found (the day of the patch by the way) takes like… 30 seconds to do?

Sad to see PUGs found a new way though, that probably means it’ll get patched and I’ll have to see how hard Anet failed again trying to patch it up…

I tried really hard to come up with some kind of ‘french surrendering/running away’ joke, but I couldn’t do it.

Cookie, there is a whole american site which references all these. I laugh so hard everytime i stumble on it again, if i ever do i ll post it again
