Mo said that the fractal 1-50 achievements were going to be deleted……welp they were deleted…..and renamed so I have to do 1-50 again? why? On the positive side I get achievement points for doing a previously deleted achievement plus all the rewards, in my honest it was pointless to delete 1-50 achievement then.

they retired the old ones because they were 1-20 and 21-50 and replaced them with 1-25 and 26-50 to better reflect the tiering theyve put in place with these new dailies.

And yes, that was likely also to incentivize people to redo the lower levels, because now with the current rewards running anything less than t3 is simply not worth it. Even t3 is not that good, to be honest.
All the rewards were pushed towards the last tier now, and since the lower tier dailies can be done by doing the higher ones, there’s completely no reason to do them at all.

You’re in no way hurt by them being deleted if you’ve done them before so I think it’s great. There might be a couple thousand or so that were at the cusp of completion that might be slightly steamed, but I think the new system was well worth it and gives them a much easier chance of completion. Plus there was the warning with SAB so they at least warned us before deleting it. Which created an influx of players interested in doing essentially all of 1-50.

Not to nitpick, but there’s nothing in the new system that makes fractals 1-50 easier to complete. Finishing the new 2 achieves is exactly as hard (or as easy) as the retired ones.

Yea I was referring to extra player interest that was created in doing every fractal, and that new recommended fractals increases the chance of just getting stuff done for those achievements with dailies.

Most of them won’t be doing it in pugs. And if they will, they wouldn’t want in their groups players that didn’t do that level before.

Most of them won’t be doing it in pugs. And if they will, they wouldn’t want in their groups players that didn’t do that level before.

i suppose im an exception to that then. i prolly wont go out of my way to do more than t4 + low dailies, but i certainly will pug whatever i do. and if it happens that my friend and i hard carry 3 people through easy fractals, so be it. but im not focused on clearing the achieve fast. theyll get done eventually.

Pugging fractals is extremely common, what are you talking about. If you don’t play near peak hours when there are a lot of players on it’ll take longer, but I see them all the time and I occasionally just check for any numbers I’m missing.

I don’t mind so much the achievement going away is that now we’ve got to re-do all the ones in the lower level tiers that we’d already completed. It’s like having a new POI put in Diessa Plateau (just to pick some area at random), and then have to revisit all the POIs there for map completion.

Mmm it’s similar, but you are actually being rewarded for it which is nice.
