agony infusions question.
There’s an agony infusion slot and either an offensive or defensive infusion slot.
For the agony infusion slot, you can only use an agony infusion (the kind you can buy from the tp).
For the offensive/defensive infusion slots you can use either a versatile simple infusion from the vendor in FotM, or you could use WvW infusions or spend loads of money on the infusions that give AR and power/precision etc.
what im asking is if i infuse my ring and put say a 10 AI from the tp on it can i also put the versatile simple infusion on it also for 15 AR.
or if i right now put the versatile simple infusion for 5 AR on the ring can i infuse it later, then put the 10 AI on it for 15 AR.
On a ring that has an agony infusion slot, you can put a versatile simple infusion (or whatever other regular infusion) and a +X agony infusion. The order you put them in the ring makes zero difference. You can’t put two versatile simple infusions in, however.
On a ring that doesn’t have an agony infusion slot, you can only put a versatile simple infusion (or other regular infusion). You can later upgrade this ring via the forge to an infused version. When you upgrade it, whatever regular infusion you have in the ring disappears. You’ve now got the same case as the first paragraph explains.

Oh, well yeah you can do that.
…but I really don’t advise it… FotM only goes up to level 50 anyways. If they ever make it go higher where more AR is required then yeah, sure.
If you infuse the ring you get a new item, i.e. the versatile simple infusion will be deleted and you have to put in a new one.
btw, using +10 AR infusions is quite useful when having multiple alts so you can easily switch it around while keeping the costs somewhat low.

Eh.
A +10 infusion costs over 65g, whereas a +5 infusion costs around 2.5g. You’d need ~26 alts for the costs to be even as opposed to just equipping everything with +5 infusions, that is unless you’re talking ascended armors as opposed to trinkets
As someone who does FotM regularly I think it’s good to have 55 AR on my trinkets (excluding the karma amulet) just for every alt I make. That’s pretty much the only reason, though.

I love your jokes, Miku. Always did.
Anet is good at making jokes too

Of course I’m taking armor into account, so it’s something you’d only take into consideration when wanting to do 50 and having multiple alts. I forgot to add that.
Also, moving around armor is considerably worse than just moving trinkets. And you’ll still have the bonus-AR in case ANet ever makes higher levels available (I admit, I just laughed a bit).
Also, you can farm the +1 infusions and you’re off cheaper when buying small infusions and upgrading them.
thanks thats all i wanted to know is if i could add the 2 infusions up.
