i really dont understand why everyone in this game oneshot player, or bring theyr life near to 0
i understand boss that kill u if u dont dodge or jump, but in this game also mob kill u, sometime happen that someone will die and the other go at the spot, so the death man have to respawn and he try to reach the other guys, but mob/traps kill him… what’s the sense of that?
another things is about dungeons skipping part, its orrible that mobs is too many/hard and so ppl skip all, i’d like to kill everyone but normal mobs, 30 mob that oneshot u with a kill, and so ppl if is possible jump all that part
pls make normal mob easy to kill just to go from a boss to another, or with some mechanism but destroy this useless oneshotting mob everywhere… make dungeon playable

did u play other games? never saw that mechanics… some mob is too strong in my opinion and what the sense of skip too many part of dungeon? remove content if player will skip it.. really dont understand you reply, maybe your only goal is farming, i’d like to have fun with dungeon i dont care too much about farming, so i’d like to have some good mechanics and play entire the dungeon, not have boring mob part or harder mob part that everyone skip

What mechanics? If you mean oneshotting, then the answer is yes. Quake 2/3 with railgun anyone?

I always get oneshot on Commander Keen.

I got one shot by a rabbit in open world. I really think this needs some serious revamping.

Quake?! R u serius? Isnt a mmorpg… i dont love to “pack” everywere.. i just know when i play dungeon all partyes skip all skippable part too many times u need to pack all together “near a coloumn” or something like that.. in other game mob is less stronger but u have to clear the area for keep running so u will do that with less problem as in gw2 wirhout packing everywhere without be downed every 2 second in some part… other stupid game have better mechanics, i love gw2 but compared with other game this dungeon have this problems… and btw almost everyone play shorter dungeon so anet cause longer is boring or not everyone is a kid that have too many time for play it

PuG’s see other players stack, they copy it without actually knowing why and generally lack the knowledge/skill/correct setup to make it work at all.
Also it makes sense to keep together when a target doesn’t deal noteworthy cleave/PBAoE damage for quick revives and buff sharing.

I’d really like to see a list of trash mobs that one shot you. I can just remember deadeyes in arah and snipers in cm and they do it in specific condition, correct me if i’m wrong.

Quite a number of mobs in fractals 70+ one shot though

Is OP talking knights in TA or illusionists in arah? Sometimes you just kite them. Some dungeon segments are not meant to be fought, in my opinion. They’re designed to encourage the risk of skipping through, either intentionally or not.

I’m not saying this game is perfect but most of the time ppl don’t even know their profession and utility skills and if something goes wrong because of their lack of knowledge they blame it on game mechanics.

Illusis don’t really “one-shot”, nor do Knights for that matter. So long as you have a dodge/tele (and a stun break in the case of the Knights) you’ll be fine, although with the Illusis depending on where you found them there’d still be the question of successfully ridding aggro.

For Arah overall I really can’t recommend taking a Thief enough. You can rescue and lift up onto your back all but the most obstinate of players.

I never really fight them so I can’t really remember.

I’m only slightly with OP because I get tired of “hard” mechanics being one-shots since Anet is just now starting to think outside the box. (kinda).
