lvl 80 Ele
KnT Commander
hey im thinking about going for arah daggers which means i need 600 tokens. can anyone give me an estimate on the time it takes per run, which path is the easiest and/or the most fun, and how possible it is when running with pugs?
Go for Forgotten and Mursaat. They are both the shortest, and easiest paths. Read up on how to take down Lupicus, PuGs will have the greatest trouble on him. Be able to calmly explain Lupicus, give tips mid-party, and expect a lot of PuGs to fall apart on Lupicus.
Mursaat path is a bit long, and has a lot of non-boss pulls. You’ll have some trouble getting by a few parts with PuGs, but it only takes a little bit of teamwork. None of the bosses are particularly hard. Tranq the abom when it enrages w/ the environmental weapon, hide behind the boxes when the pirate guy spins. For the final boss encounter you just have your stronger dps alternate going into her bubble to burn her down while everyone else kills off the adds that come in. Eventually she enters phase 2 where everyone can go in her bubble and the adds become irrelevant. The hardest part you’ll have to deal with (aside from Lupicus) is a part in which one person enters a golem and the rest of the party has to alternate giving it charges to protect them through the giant spider field. You CAN do this with 3 people if you want to not have to rely entirely on PuGs, but it’s easy enough with a little organization.
Forgotten is short, and a lot of the non-boss pulls can be avoided. Keep in mind that you can pull the first boss (which is 2 mobs) separately, and the second boss kind of has a dead zone that should hopefully be fixed soon (otherwise he’s just an avoid the red zones boss, I think). For the final boss encounter you just need to have someone in 2 circles at all times, and other people kiting all the wraiths in the center. After that it’s a fairly easy champion that you just need to burn down.
You’ll get 60 tokens per path, and those are the two that can be done in the shortest amount of time. Seers has a ton of non-boss pulls, and a ton of bosses. Not to mention the Dwayna Priestess, which you’ll have a hard time PuGing, and even with a decent group it will take some time to go down. Jotun has a lot of annoying non-boss pulls, and some annoying bosses but nothing is particularly hard (aside from the oozes), it’s just a long path.
thank you very much for the info i really appriciate it
