asc chests and stuff in pvp?
It is very easy to get Ascended in PvE raids are extremely easy to get a full Ascended in a short time, fractals extremely easy you can buy with gold the main currency needed to purchase them, PvP is capped at how many pieces you can get and have a huge time gate to get a full set. So there is that, PvP players don’t solely PvP and this gives them an avenue to be geared in PvE/WvW now they just need to give WvW an ascended vendor
Ok so why does pvp have asc items in it and why are they easy fast and cheap to get ? i mean it doesnt even makes sense asc has no use in pvp and you mentioned when ppl asked for the reasoning behind the fractal prices for asc chest that you didnt want the prices to be lower than crafting the gear thats not the case in pvp asc gear tho.
Because Ascended gear is a great way to get people who otherwise might not try ranked PvP to try it out. It’s still extremely limited gear as you can only get 1200 shards in a season; not enough for a full armor set, nevermind buying other pieces.
And hell why not give asc to wvw first where it matters?

I really hope they do given the discussion about it in the WvW forums, since ascended gear effects mainly Raids, Fractals and WvW, you can only earn the gear in two of those modes without crafting.
I like the fact I can save to finish my 5th ascended set in PvP, I’ve got a few boxes laying around from Fractals, after having crafted my first 3 sets. It would be a great addition to WvW to buy it with Heroics/Memories and badges of honor.
That’s one of the reasons I enjoy being a PvX player, I just wish WvW was treated fairly and consistently like the other game modes. Maybe Anet does have plans for it. It sure would be nice to know for definite though.
