Dick move that was from their part.

Makes me paranoid to do pugs.

I’ve screenshotted people sometimes… just in case they plan to kick me. Hope they get banned.

You sure you didn’t join THEIR party? Since you mentioned no delay/etc.

Anyways, next time take a deep breath and calm down before making threads like this.
All type of furry kittens happen, that’s life.

Based on the screens, there is no “proof” against them, only excellent food for trolls to further grief you. Your reaction is basically Internet 101 on how not to react when getting griefed.

Furthermore, I’m actually pretty sure that kicking someone from a party isn’t a bannable offense. It’s the risk you take, when you run with PUGs. There are all sorts of people out there.

A good example from the other day:
I had successfully run two paths with PUGs. We were getting ready for 3rd path and we had to swap out some players. One of the players who joined randomly wanted to vote kick one of the lower level players out. So instead of accepting it, I had the vote starter kicked instead and took someone who wasn’t a complete kitten.

Another example that relates more to your case, again in a PUG, where we actually kicked someone before the last boss. This was due to that person running ahead all the time, QQing that we were not skipping everything like him, that we actually wanted the $$ from goldenrings etc. He didn’t cooperate, annoyed us all and he headed to heart of the mists before the final boss without a word. So kicks were made, we 4-manned it and much rejoice was had since the party had a much better atmosphere after he was gone. To keep someone from a party or not is purely the partys decision.

The hard and cruel reality is: deal with it.

I am curious why you would even want to swap toons mid way through a dungeon. The tokens are account bound so you can use the bank.

If it was a matter of getting the ful 60 tokens instead of the 20 for a run you have already done, why not play with your warrior in the first place?

My advice is to not swap toons in the middle of the dungeon, thats expecting 4 other people to wait on your schedule.

People have been booted from groups for less…

eg: this one dude thought Chuck Norris was the best and had no idea Bruce Lee trained him and ripped out his chest hair once>> bootable offense offense

Dungeons bring out the worst in people. I’ve seen all sorts of people ever since I started dungeons. Probably losers with low paying jobs and no social life.

While I do symphatize your grievance, I agree with Psybunny that we just have to deal with it and pray hard we will never run into these a**holes again.

If you want revenge, run with them on an alt again. Start the dungeon yourself and let them have a taste of their own medicine.

But remember, being an a**hole is not a talent. It is a choice. You are not them you can be much more.

My first explo dungeon experience wasn’t a good one. I like to talk in game here and there, maybe crack a joke etc, but not to point where I think I’m irritating or anything like that. Anyhoo the group leader had a friend with us who was just a complete kitten He was AFK on and off as he felt like it, insulted and belittled us, and any form of teamwork/res was not even a consideration. The whole run was really just a horrible experience – as a noob I ask questions like ‘should we attack that?’ and ‘when is the last boss?’. Unfortunately each of these questions was met with a sarcastic, often disgusting retort about my character or my my mother to the point where I went silent and was just playing for the end. As the last boss sequence started he (and I imagine his friend) had me kicked from the group. My friend reinvited me, but I was kicked again. He then pvt messaged me “last boss is up!”, when I realised the whole thing was just premeditated from the moment I responded to one of his insults. Left with broken gear in silence on the doormat of AC dungeon it’s suprising the feeling hopelessness I felt for a large portion of my Saturday afternoon. The idea that this will happen to most players that are in a team with this… person saddens me greatly. Most people take a ‘well that’s some people’ or ’don’t feed the trolls’ response to this… I don’t understand it at all. If you’re aggressive go start a bar fight. If you wanna run a dungeon in a video game then do that. I guess this wont really mean much to you unless you’ve experienced it, but yea… that’s my story.

I feel you.Never happened to me but had friends and I was forced to sit and watch while they were being pushed around by these Keyboard Warriors then ultimately being kicked out of the group just as we reach the end of the Dungeon.
ANET needs to increase the number of people that has to agree upon kicking someone out.
