what do you guys think?

is it possibile to do a dungeon run through the citadel of flame with a party of only 4 players?

unfotunately one of our, lets call it home group has left so now we are only 4…

i know we could take a random with us but thats an other story…

so what do you think?
is it possibile or not?

i have to mention that we’ve never done the CoF befor but we are all a bunch of tryhards and are willing to never give up… more or less

You would not be able to do P1 or P3 with 4 people since you need 5 people for the gate event in P1 and 5 people for the torch event in P3. P2 is easily doable with 4 though, depending on skill.
I recommend just pugging a 5th of any class, we run into your same problem a lot too. Even if they aren’t that good its still another body for the mobs to get distracted by.

Path 1 and 3 you’d need to invite a random guy then yea.
Path 2 is possible with 4 players but it is indeed the hardest path of the 3 in CoF

Since when that path 2 is the hardest path in CoF?

do you need a party of 5 people to do the story run?

CoF Path 1 you would need 1 more body, like the others have said, but I’ve done runs of that with only 4 people for every part other than that and it’s turned out fine. That being said, whoever you invite shouldn’t impact your ability to complete the dungeon as long as they can stand next to the pillar for that last room before the boss.
