Unfortunately, anet doesn’t read the dungeon forums.
Also, it’s entirely normal that you sometimes lose your progress in Guild Wars 2.

Yep. And no compensation is owed to you. If they even Consider fixing the issue they didn’t have to and you should feel honored.
And all who stood by and did nothing, who are they to criticize the sacrifices of others?
Our blood has bought their lives.
how soon after someone logs off does he/she get kicked from the party?
About 15 mins.
It’s more. Like 30min or so.
Thanks very much!
Its definately less than 30mins.
Yeah I checked it and it’s ~10min
I noticed something else. The mistlock instability seems to be tied to the character that opened the fractal.
We had another dc problem. Luckily this time it was only the game client and the player was still in teamspek with us and made it back online before the system decided to kick him.
Anyway as long as he was offline or – while logging back on – still in Lion’s Arch, the instability would not trigger. We were doing 45 (Frosty). No ice drops, while he wasn’t inside the fractals.
In theory, if this affects all instabilities, that opens a whole can of worms in regard to abusive exploits.
We didn’t try out what happens if he simply stayed in LA because we didn’t want to go down that road. So I can’t confirm wether the instance owner being outside of the fractals actually disables the instablity in some cases or not.
And while we are at problems with people being offline/outside: If the instance owner ist offline, the progression in the thaumanova reactor is partially blocked.
Due to another little disconnect (yes we seem to have a problem there) we did the living quarters with just the four of us, but after saving the fourth asura, the door where the conduit and the coolant rod are located wouldn’t open.
So that part seems to be tied to the instance owner as well.

Wow… if that is true it pretty much negates any instability. For most it wouldn’t be worth it but for some of the harder ones it would be easier to 4-man it.
