how is engi in dungeons with dps and in solo roaming ?

I never saw any, but they’re quite good in PvP.

In my time playing I’ve experienced one amazing engi and a couple subpar Engis in dungeons. They have the capability to be pretty good additions but they aren’t optimal. Nevets Crimsonwing best engi NA.

I dunno. But I feel like… something’s coming. Something big.

I have it on reliable authority that engie DPS is infinity because Surprise Shot is instant so if you divide the damage by the cast time then…

not as high as i hope it to be. but the huge explosions looked like it does a lot of dmg

Engi’s damage to my FPS is insane, if that can help.

I do have to say though that there is this terrible tendency for new engineers to use FT for the “cool” factor while completely negating their DPS potential. That’s been my experience with the few others that play engi, at least.

Eh, I ran torch on my guard because the animations were cute. I understand the FT love. But no really, Nevets, I’ve never experienced a pug engi of your caliber.

Best engi is lag constructor. Why? Because his name is program.

Well that’s true, I am probably one of the best engi “Pugs.” I pug all day erryday. Pugs for lyfe yo!

Anyway, not sure if this thread is troll or serious, but Engi DPS can be decent if the Engi is aware of his/her class potential. The general consensus of speed run guilds is that Engi DPS/utility is overall lacking compared to other classes, so the profession is not taken for speed runs.

Well, I don’t think it’s an insult exactly, but what I’ve said before and I’ll say again is that I’ve met several [Ren] members in pugs and I am always impressed by them. They have always been kind, polite, and entirely BA players with great attitudes.

What exactly do you mean with BA ?

It’s close to warrior which we all know is the only infinite dps class.
