I’m coming back to GW2 after almost 2 years and I’m currently stuck on T2 level 42. Hardly anyone plays T2 and I can’t use the LFG tool to search for higher tiers. Any suggestions for helping my character level up?

When I was ‘stuck’, I asked a friend to just open up the lobby at L100 so I could choose the level. They dropped the group after I entered.

If you don’t know someone who can do that, try using LFG and just be careful how you phrase the advert.

Alternatively, you could try PUGging T3 to advance your level. I’d recommend letting people know that you’re new, after joining. Plenty of people try to wing it, which doesn’t always go well.

Finish up your ascended gear, then buy the infusions you need (they only cost gold and +1 infusions, easily traded). Then do T4 dailies, and it’ll automatically go up. Costs about 140g, give or take, for 150 AR.

You can also get a group to farm 100 until you reach 100, but that’s less likely to happen.

Are you finding Mai Trin hard or just finding it hard to get a group of 5?

I’m good for now. I managed to find 2 more people who were leveling from 40-50. I’m currently at 48 but the LFG tool opened up T3 options so I can join them if I need to.
