10 runs in a row not getting anything. I run only 26+ and I am not getting even a ring, an exotic gear from fotm.
Anet wants to declare FOTM death?

There was no change, it’s just a string of RNG not in your favor. I’ve gotten skins and rings since patch no problem.

RNG is RNG, but 10 runs nothing says a lot about the droprate. I am only farming cavalier armor, a few more toughness ain’t worth all the time and headache of pug in FOTM. guess imma quit fotm too.

10 runs is not enough of a sample to learn anything about drop rates. You would have to do at least 100 runs, and even then that aint anywhere near enough for any kind of accurate data. More like 10,000 runs before it would yield sufficient data to give you a simulacrum of accurate data.

As we said its just RNG doing its thing. For all you know tomorrow you could have the best day ever in drops, its just random chance.

Random loot is random. Onyxia also does deep breath more this patch.

I consider fractals a huge waste of time now. I have been at 48 for about 2 months. I quit when I did the full 48 fractal, including daily maw, and got 2 rares and no skins.

guys, the reason I said its nerfed coz I played it way before, from the very beginning. And gosh, that was some good time. Effort well spent. Almost 1 rare per chest guaranteed. But Anet just secretly nerfed it down a couple times. Now it’s seems like Anet doesn’t care if anyone still wanna do it or not. In fact, most of my fotm buddies either quit the game or not doing fotm anymore. And the quality of pugs are getting worse by the days.

I have several-run streaks where I get 1-2 runs per chest every chest, and then some several-run streaks where the outcome looks more like yours. That is RNG at work, and it has not been nerfed.

RNG has droprate too. RNG is RNG no complaints there. But I never had it where nothing dropped in 10 runs.
Good for you guys since you all happy with the current effort reward ratio in FOTM. I’ve had it.

Me and a lot of my guild mates have commented more than a few times how loot seemed better through 1-9 than it does 20+… which seems totally wrong.

Had alot of bad rng lately, 10 runs of 30+ one ring, no skins.
As I don’t need rings, and am after skins, this is annoying :P.

I do note, that I have gotten waaay more rings in the past, say 6 times out of 10.

Maybe just bad luck, or maybe a sneaky change, who knows :P

as it stands fractals is an optional waste of time.
