What happened to Guild Wars? Every month some crappy mini dungeon is added with zero challenge or longevity? Been waiting for the one we got today thinking it ‘may’ finally be decent since you first need to unlock it and its ONE ENEMY!?

Why are you even calling this dungeons? Its a room with enemie(s) so call it as is, a room. A brand new room for us to explore…

The one we got today (which anet calls as a dungeon), what exactly is this supposed to be? Its a tiny room with one enemy, wtf? Its so disappointing when they give us crappy stuff like that and nothing is done to current fractals or a brand new dungeon. Is a brand new dungeon in 9 months too much asking?

the 20% HP damage mechanic is the dungeon design symbol.
How it is the rush without animation….with 1shot into traps if you don t have a stability profession.

Well players said warrior were too OP inpve…

I wonder wich class has a huge dps and long stability to make the fight easy ….

GW2 balance:
A PvE player is supposed to avoid a 1-2 second 1 shotting aoe.
A WWW player is considered uncapable of avoiding a 5,75 second aoe for half his health.

I’m not too keen on single-player bits, this is an MMO not a single player game after all. I play it mainly because of other people, for everything else, there are decent RPGs with decent story out there, like Dragon Age. So yeah, defeating Canach was a bit annoying, I’m disappointed to hear the final instance would be single-player as well.

Instances are the way forward I guess. ‘Lost shores’ happened just before I started playing, but I understand they were super laggy. Instances would be one way of dealing with 90% of the server wanting to do the event at the same time.

It’s be nice to get something more permanent. I understand that it’s living story, but we had months of stagnation with F&F and now everything happened within a short time window of a few weeks: MF, Secret of Southsun, Canach…

To all:

Southsun Cove is a “bridge” between F&F and what’s upcoming in the near future. The content is only supposed to last a month with some permanent content. I don’t believe the “Spring Break Team” had the support to make the instances advanced.

BTW, based on a dev post on these forums, it sounds like one person made this “dungeon”, and they never internally considered it a “dungeon”, but then it was marketed as one which pushed expectations high and set us up for all this disappointment.
