I fall for it every time..

The emotional roller coaster is going to kill me one of these days.

Now imagine if someone necroed some old patch note discussion topics.

That… That is just cruel.

Rob used to start “Dungeon Patch Discussion” threads for each major patch that went out to start discussions and gather feedback on the changes. Those are the best to necro, but you gotta wait until the date (always written month/day, like “Dungeon Patch Discussion 6/28”) is close so people think that the current ArenaNet gives two kittens about player feedback :^)

Keep reachin’ for the stars, ANet — you’ve come a long way, baby!

Stop this madness for god’s sake! This one isn’t even red!

But this one is!

Also relevant to other thread. Here’s the dev’s quote:

We’re looking into tech solutions for displaying the paths you have run, but our resources are pooled more heavily in fixing bugs, exploits, and other issues before features like this will be worked on.

As a note though, I have brought this very thing up many times. I’d like to see a way for it to work with our achievement system without making a massive slew of achievements that clutter up that UI with even more information.

Also:

Can we just necro all the dev threads so the whole front page contains dev posts?

History is cyclical.

LOL. Though fyi, you’re no longer allowed to necro posts older than 1 month in the WvW forum because of one week where people were necroing all sorts of broken dev promises.

In all seriousness, this is one issue that does need to be addressed if any of our issues are.

That’s lifetime completion, not daily. If you’re grinding for Dungeon Master title then I guess this will be useful, otherwise… :/

The vast majority of players hasn’t gotten this achievement. (This is not obvious to achievement chasers or dungeon regulars, who have completed it.) I know a few dozen people who knew they just needed a few more paths, but were loath to work on it, since they didn’t know which paths remained — this will be a big help for them.

(I agree, it would also be helpful if the game kept track of my daily paths, but most of us don’t have that much trouble keeping track.)
