Infinite Mist Potions
Yep a million times this.
I too was so disappointed about having to clog 3 slots and bounce them between chars.
Please just make it an account wide buff unlock.
I would totally buy them if it were an account wide buff.
With all the changes to the fractals, by far the biggest dissapointment to me was when the infinite mist potions that became purchaceable have a potion life of 30 min.
This means after spending over 18000 fractal relics plus stabilizing matricies i need to clog 3 more slots in my bag and refresh every half hour. Why cant these potions be consumable for an account like the purchaceable items for bloodstone fen and emry bay?
+1
I think it’s pretty important that they take an inventory slot since they’re a tangible combat buff, not just a karma/experience booster or something. What I would be ok with, however, is if they had a mystic forge recipe to combine the three infinite mist potions together into one potion that does everything.
Incoming recipe for 4 infinite potions.
We need a 4th infinite potion that buffs healing. Then a recipe to merge all 4 in mystic forge would be good.
There are a couple of different ways to make them last “infinitely long” without creating an infinite buff that folks can’t get rid of:
- Enrichment: Make them an enrichment, so they can be slotted to amulets. Great for people who run one main in fractals; slightly inconvenient for others.
- Like a Booster: Make them last 24 hours — allows them to be stored in the bank and refreshed 1x/week for uber players and 1x/day (or less) for everyone else.
- Like the Royal Terrace Pass: start the buff and it as long as the character has the potion in inventory.
- Like a BL claim ticket: double-click the potion, choose the buff and a duration. Buying each potion unlocks another buff.
- Like a currency: visit the lobby’s potion vendor. Get as many potions as you want, using the infinite one you own as an everlasting token.

It can be an infinite buff that only appears in fractals. Take the new speed buff provided by the Pact Commander mastery line. Its permanent yet only applies in city maps. Same exact code should be able to work with these potions as well with very minor tweaks
The reason is very simple. Now ppl need to buy 3 more shared slots to conveniently use em on all characters.

I have maxed slots. I would buy 3 more if I could. But I don’t have any more room.
4x Necromancer, 3x Mesmer, 4x Guardian, 4x Thief, 4 Revenant

rip them first world problems… :P
I would rather they didn’t exist at all and balancing didn’t rely on this crutch for “more” content.

I’m not sure why it matters to better players that these exist. If you don’t need them, that’s one less thing you have to invest in.
I like that they are available so that I can fractal with folks who aren’t as confident in their abilities and/or take longer to adapt to changed circumstances.
i actually find it really convinient that these exist now its a change for the better a recipe to make all 3 into 1 ould be dope as well but i understand that ppl want to have them acoundt bound as a passive but worry not the shared slots are coming u

This is exactly what I was hoping for in the first place, “Dessas oversight” or something similar.
Now that their is a bank golem, you can juat leave them in your bank and then just pull them out, use them and put them back in the bank before every run

Yes that is an option, and at the moment I simply have them in my bag and refresh as needed (when I remember). But my major gripe is that after paying the cost of 1000 of each potions its no more intuitive/convenient for any user.
They’re useless to begin with. Just buy regulars.
Edit: Old typo.

Mystic Forge Recipe:
– 10 <type> potions
– 5 large <type> potions
– 1 Infinite <type> potion
– 1 Gift of Ascension
Result: Legendary mystic <type> potion: permanent 5 stacks of <type> buff when inside fractal instance.
Would like to see one master infinite fractal potion for healing/power/defense/speed.
Also, I like having them in the game. Gives me something to blow all my fractal relics on.
