Very kittening when people leave after few failed attempts. Specially kittening when one starts yelling and cursing at the pug for being kitten bad. My last successful daily was a kitten fluke when one member gave up the last minute and the molten berserker never regened giving the rest of us the opportunity to respawn midfight. I bet 1 out of 10 random pugs can complete this legitly. I just want to unlock T4 dailies but it’s taking too kitten long. #endrant

Pugging T2-T3 can be one of the most annoying things if you aren’t skilled enough to solo/duo them because there are a lot of players in these tiers who were running “swamp of the mists” only before HoT. They are there for the fast reward and never bothered about learning encounters or even try to succeed in higher fractals. If they cannot, they will try to cheese/exploit.
In my experience it’s different in T4 where you find way more relaxed players with patience knowing it could last a minute longer here and there.
I recommend to take a guild mate with you, the more the better, fill the rest with pugs
and you will reach T4 very soon.

Scale 3 is sort of interesting. Previous levels your typical pug could 100-0 most bosses before they did anything dangerous through brute strength of gear alone. This leaves a lot of individuals to assume that that’s how most encounters are suppose to play out. So when a squad wipes they’re mentally unprepared for it and quit thinking everyone but them sucks because they did just fine in lower scales.

T4 is a bit more forgiving in this respect as dying is not that uncommon. We usually toss our two cents, change up our strategy, or just assume it was just unlucky and try again. However this does not mean it’ll work out if we try hard enough. I had to leave a T4 after 5th wipe because half the squad couldn’t dodge a yellow cone or finish off the cultist before smacking the seal. This leads me to believe that a significant portion of T4 puggers just got access to the lfg through 77 swamp.

That being said some pugs fail even if you have great players. One group of mine disbanded today simply because 3/5 of the group were mesmers and we had no damage output. Everyone played well but the lack of damage dragged out the fight long enough for someone to slip.

IDK what you’re suppose to get out of my rant tbh. Just keep going, every scale is full of frustration. Some individuals don’t adapt as fast as others. You’ll eventually get up there if you’re good enough. Best of luck OP.

After doing t4 molten pre-opened with a nice party setup, it feels like a joke compared to t3 molten due to the not having the Afflicted instability. Now Im 2 levels away to unlocking t4 dailies.

Coulda been worse. They coulda done it then, blaming you for the time wasting that occured, kicked you right before the reward. So be happy
