Cleaving sure is one of necro problem right now, but not the most important. What we are hoping for is some kind of party wide buffs/utilities. We bring thief because they can stealth, blast combo field and blind, We bring mesmer for the portal, reflects,etc. We bring Guardian for aegis, blinds and reflect. Etc.
What they need is an incentive to bring them along, DPS is important but unlike what the majority of the population believe, isn’t the only thing that matter :P because necro actually already have decent DPS on single target

Maybe they’ll modify golem so you can target it better into walls and lower cd lol.

Lich form will most likely get the same treatment as tornado did. Lower overall power to prevent well bombing but increase skill dmg to be at the same dmg levels as before.
Will be no change. Depending on the other changes we get, necro might be slightly better in fractals.

Seeing as the changes will focus on survivability, I wouldn’t hold my breath. Maybe if they make well of darkness a shadow field that could help. Who am I kidding though >_<.
It’ll help with soloing. But necro’s true problem in a party is lack of support.
