Hey guys, so it’s been a really long time since rT’s posted a record and we really wanted to do something before all of the pre-expansion nerfs come about. We decided in the past few weeks to try Arah P1, and this was the result.

It could have been faster, especially with Lupicus (we have cursed RNG -cries-), but this is still our best full run and we want to share with you the results. We have new ideas to try for after the expansion so more from us can be expected in the future!

It makes me sad that we don’t have time to explore all of our ideas for strategies, as this could be done ~a min faster, but at the same time I’m glad we have something to share.

RIP ice bow and RIP mobility, things will never be the same.

This Lupicus though… one of our worst ones ever ;_;

Really nice job guys, that ooze kill looked complicated! It’s nice to see it openfield!

The varra kill was also good idea for skipping time at the end and poor austin’s death wasn’t wasted at least

Anyways I’ll watch the bloopers later but just had to say it was nice run, even if the thief looked lost at the end xD

Haha yeah that was the only run where i lost orientation after lupi for a second. Unfortunately we didn’t have enough time to get a better one.
If the balance patch is not tomorrow we will most likely do a faster p1 before we start another record

2 noob questions:

Do you not have to path the elite oozes at the start? I guess they have a leash range by the time you reach the first boss, but then I don’t understand why in the bloopers you sometimes had the oozes follow you.

How did the thief have the elite hunter pre-targetted in the skip after Lupi?

1. If you are fast enough, you dont have to path them.
2. I use Call target while aiming at the mob behind the wall and after the target is called i put it in target.

Hm I don’t play thief at all, but I thought there was a patch recently that changed or removed the ability to target enemies behind walls? I distinctly remember people saying “RIP thief Arah P2 skip” (on the way to Alphard).

Maybe I’m misremembering, either way, great job and thanks for answering

They fixed the nearest target through wall function but this method is more reliable anyways.

Because it’s not our preferred strategy, we went there because we could not keep 100% immobilize uptime without the thief there and wanted to have tempest defense for the entire opening burst.

We have ideas to do tar much faster but since I will be busy today and there will supposedly be nerfs tomorrow, we decided it would be best to just upload this in case we lose out on the opportunity due to game builds changing.

Lightning hammer KB can send the tar flying pretty far back.
