I have been using this site for weeks now without any gold spam. ANet is working on an improved LFG tool, and I believe that GW2LFG is a good site to utilize in the interim as it is far superior (and much faster) than LA and map chat spam.

You don’t have to post anything if you are looking to JOIN a group. Just type /join <group maker’s name> after browsing for what you want. If you believe that makes you a gold spammer target, I don’t even know what to say anymore…..
